Virtues for a new age...

in studying today i came across some interesting facts about the different virtues "focused" on in different cultures and eras.

i was curious what are some of your ideas for a new top 5 list of virtues that are important in modern times.  it maybe stuff we already do or somethings our society needs to work on.

below is a list of common virtues, referrence sited in post.  list how ever many you feel vital in developing our society.  explain if you wish or just talk about one inparticular.  have fun and make some up if you like.

May God bless us and give us the words to express our ideas in a creative and civil manner, while providing us an ear that we may truly hear each other, and a voice to clearly project our thoughts.

Rather than kind, I think

Rather than kind, I think I'd use compassionate. I think 'kindness' is subjective, but 'kind behaviour' certainly follows one's compassion.

"This is the real world, stupid." - Charlie Brooker

"It is necessary to be bold. Some people can be reasoned into sense, and others must be shocked into it. Say a bold thing that will stagger them, and they will begin to think." - Thomas Paine
