Yeah, my brother is bringing his copy this weekend. I lent him The God Theory, so his bringing me the God Delusion.
LOL...I'm just re-reading it and when I came to that part, I thought of you. Dawkins didn't say pantheists were annoying. He spent an entire chapter on Spinoza's god and Einstein's metaphorical usage of the word "god," then wrote: "Nevertheless, I wish that physicists would refrain from using the word God in their special metaphorical sense. The metaphorical or pantheistic God of the physicists is light years away from the interventionist, miracle-wreaking, thought-reading, sin-punishing, prayer-answering God of the Bible, of priests, mullahs and rabbis, and of ordinary language. Deliberately to confuse the two is, in my opinion, an act of intellectual high treason."
Dawkins was more pissed at people who mine Einstein's works for quotes...kinda like Kirk Cameron did in the debate.
