Homefront

I picked this game up today. I like the premise of it. I mean I like the way they did it not actually ..

Anyway if you are unaware it is set in I think* 2027 and kim jong has died, his son has taken his place and has managed to merge n and s korea and they are invading and taking over ..us. It goes into some detail about "what has happened".

The intro and all was fairly well done and seemed kinda plausible, of course when you actually start playing it loses much of that. I had hoped it would play out a bit more realistically but it's still pretty fun at least. I'm liking the control better than the cod series.

Faith is the word but next to that snugged up closely "lie's" the want.

If you want realism in

If you want realism in games, you should get Operation Flashpoint. One hit kills etc...

I was thinking of getting it, but I heard it sucks and I prefer RPGs/strategy games anyway.

It's not really 1 hit kills that get me in these games so much, I mean you can still 1 shot them in the head anyway. It's just how linear it is and how you can shoot up 20 bad guys then walk a block away and they are walking around "talking" and totally unsuspecting lol. And these guys are taking over the world?

I have beaten the single

I have beaten the single player campaign (it was ok I guess) and now I am doing the multiplayer thing.

I must report it seems to be way more fun than cod multiplayer even though I still suck.

 Shit!   Homefront was

Shit!

Homefront was written by John Milius. He also wrote Dirty Harry, Apocalypse Now and Red Dawn. If my computer can run it, then I am there.

Yea it peaked my interest initially because it seemed reminiscent of red dawn. Now the multiplayer is keeping me hooked though as I mentioned I'm not that great. I did just get a 8 kill streak about 30 minutes ago though heh.

You can't start a realism

You can't start a realism discussion in FPS without quoting Project IGI
