www.rationalresponders.org??

Anyone seen this site go up? It looks like a religious spoof of www.rationalresponders.com, they even have the little badge.

Maybe you guys should look into registering www.rationalresponders.net and redirecting it here?

Crappy site seems to have

Crappy site seems to have just been put up. Hope it doesn't turn big I suggest we go over there and debunk all there "debunking radical atheism" bullshit. It is a small community, but they are copying, and we have to stop them.

The only chance they'd have

The only chance they'd have of winning a copyright infringement suit is to try to claim it's a parody.

LOL Jesterspace

LOL Jesterspace

"Physical reality” isn’t some arbitrary demarcation. It is defined in terms of what we can systematically investigate, directly or not, by means of our senses. It is preposterous to assert that the process of systematic scientific reasoning arbitrarily excludes “non-physical explanations” because the very notion of “non-physical explanation” is contradictory.

To debunk atheism, a theist would need to provide a deductive proof for theism. This should already be their focus, regardless of the existence of the rational response squad.

"Hitler burned people like Anne Frank, for that we call him evil.
"God" burns Anne Frank eternally. For that, theists call him 'good.'

Untrue.  http://www.publaw.com/copy.html

"When is my work protected?

Your work is under copyright protection the moment it is created and fixed in a tangible form so that it is perceptible either directly or with the aid of a machine or device."

The logo and name is more of a trademark issue, and similar rules apply there.  Any lawyers out there want to start having some fun?

I say you just you threaten

I say you just you threaten them first with a suite. Will work unless they think "god will protect our site" which is there mentallity right now.

James,   The information

James,

The information to contact the owners of their site is public, I may just end up making them our nemesis. Let's see if they have the balls to come on our show on a recurring basis.  I'll even let them link to files of their appearances on our show for free.  I mean c'mon, if they're gonna market our site for us, might as well go all the way.

Registrant:Glenn

I called.  It was hilarious!

Here's a transcript:

Me: Hello is this Glenn?

Glenn: Yes

Me: Glenn, Hi.  This is Brian Sapient, Rational Response Squad

Glenn: 1 second, pause... "Say that again"

Me: I said it's Brian Sapient, Rational Response Squad, how ya doing?

Glenn: Hello? (he disconnected the call instantly)

(I think I heard him shit himself right before he got off)

I called back left a message inviting him on the show often, offering to host his appearances on our server as free downloads to people on his website, and explained the alternative was court, emphasizing my preference on the more fun first option.  I gave him my email and told him to write.

Here's his site info:

Interesting. The site banner

Interesting. The site banner has chanced to 'A rational response to radical atheism'.. any reference to debunking is gone. But they still ape the badge. And yes.. his response did make me want to send him some moist towelettes.

How do you define Radical

How do you define Radical Atheism? How much farther can you go once you say you don't believe in the supernatural??

However, statistically speaking atheism is radical.
