LOL Poor Santa!

That cartoon, right there, explains why religion persists despite its obvious absurdity. Incurious people would far rather twist logic to justify their sentimental beliefs than let go of them. Remember how painful it was as a kid to face the fact that Santa doesn't exist?

It wasn't hard for me. When I learned it was my perents, I was like "Oh, it was you, wow, I love you."

Maybe it was because Santa never made sense.

I knew the older gentleman

I knew the older gentleman that played Santa for my small town and we traded silly notes (he signed his "Sandy Claws") and gifts until I was in college.

I knew, but pretended to believe because I thought it made my mom happy.

Hence, there was no "outting" of Santa Claus for me.
