An atheist's deconversion story

I came across this on a theology message board.
A theist linked to it, quoted the first paragraph with a **slaps head** emoticon, as if to say, "wtf?"

So I replied with something like, "yeah... that's what happens when you search for the truth."
Anysway, we have a general interest in deconversion stories here and I thought this one would nicely add to the collection, if it hadn't already been discovered before! Smiling
