Two great songs about organized/new age religion

These are two songs from one of my favorite band's. They are called Floater, and I think these two songs sum up their view on different religious positions perfectly. The songs are both from their album "Angels in the Flesh and Devils in the Bone". Number six on the album is called "Minister" and number seven is called "Medicine Woman". I think you can figure out which is about organized religion and which is about the New Agey religion. The sound quality of the video's isn't the best since they are live and people are going crazy and such, but Floater live is one of the best live acts you could see if you like rock.

Minister lyrics:

Good morning, children!
How nice to see you again.
I hope your ready for your lesson today.
To build your spirits will help:
We'll start erasing the self.
Suppress those tiny devils
boiling in your bone.

Your whole life,
You've been softly fading.
Once you were strong,
but now degrading,
and searching for a light to lead the way.

That's me...
I'm a holy spastic.
I'll make you feel
you're made of blood,
in a world that's plastic.

Take my hand,
'cause only I can show you the way...

And all the way

the sinister minister's grinning.
What have I got to offer?
What have you got to lose?
In your alcohol haze...
in the softest grace.
When you could be mine,
and even God needs lambs.
And I am the shepherd...

I am the shepherd.

I hate to see you cry.
And I hate to see you cry.
I hate to see you cry.

I hate it.

And what do you want to suffer?
What are you trying to prove?
In your sick little phase...
you got your hands up raised.
And you could be clean.
And you know I need lambs
and I am the shepherd...

you know I'm the shepard.

I hate to see you cry.
I hate to see you cry.
Bleach that soiled life
and take your place in line, yeah...

You know your whole life
you've been softly fading.
Once you were strong,
but now you're degrading
and searching for a little light to lead the way.

Well that's me.
I'm a holy spastic.
I'll make you feel
you're made of blood
in a world that is plastic.

Take my hand,
'cause only I can show you the way.

And now you know all the way...

that I will be grinning

Medicine Woman lyrics:

Hey, hey, medicine woman,
do your dance,
take the pain.

Slay the lamb
slay the minister
make me whole again.

Did you feel that?
Did you like it?
Straight to heaven, no need to pray.

Don't make it all so complicated,
watch the background fade away.

Hey, hey, let our legions swallow you.

And we're only
half a mile from home.
We're so lonely
one more night alone...

Don't leave me alone with him.
(And the feelings closing in...)
Don't leave me alone with him.
(And the minister starts to grin...)

Yeah.

Hey, hey, astral-traveler
has your family gone away?
Do they lambs obey the minister?
For your wretched soul they pray.

Did you see that?
Did you like it?
The way the sheep all flock that way?
Don't make it all so complicated,
watch the background fade away.

Hey, hey, let our legions swallow you.

And we're only
half a mile from home.
We're so lonely,
one more night alone...

Don't leave me alone with him.
(And the feeling is closing in...)
Don't leave me alone with him.
(And the minister starts to grin...)

Great songs about religion from a great band. Hope some of you enjoy!

"This may shock you, but not everything in the bible is true." The only true statement ever to be uttered by Jean Chauvinism, sociopathic emotional terrorist.
"A Boss in Heaven is the best excuse for a boss on earth, therefore If God did exist, he would have to be abolished." Mikhail Bakunin
"The means in which you take,
dictate the ends in which you find yourself."
"Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government! Supreme leadership derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony!"
