Hello from the Pacific Northwest
Offline Hello everybody, this is my first post up here. I live in the Everett, WA (20 miles north of Seattle) and I have been looking for a new place to discuss science, politics, and irrationallity. If any theists would like to debate their delusions with me, in a futile attempt to make me agree with your woo, I would love the opportunity to show you a little bit of reason.

Hey everyone, thanks for the greetings! I hope to become a useful member of this atheist community, hopefully contributing to the intellectual level of the discussions, possibly not... So I hope to get to know you all better as time goes on.

We have a small but highly dedicated group of active theists whose arguments have evolved through a process of natural selection to perfectly fit the the handful of environmental niches in which they can survive. Exploiting these notches in scientific understanding you'll find Prime Mover, followed hotly by the unexplained delights of consciousness which for theistic purposes has been renamed Soul. There's also the plum - Abiogenesis - and let's face it we're all pretty keen to know more about that one.
There are boring instances of logical proofs that don't make a great deal of sense and much use of the bible as an inviolate source of all truth, just so long as you know which way to interpret it.

I can't wait to hear their ultimate, absolute, 100% "PROOFS" (sp intended) which will just shake the very core of my evilutionist worldview. I'm still waiting...
