Private Messages Not Working
I couldn't find a good place to put this, so decided that here would be the least inappropriate. My PM's have not worked for the last 3 days. I would have contacted admin through the Contact button, but that function works on PM as well.

It seems to have worked for me. If you got it, ignore it. Maybe it's a browser problem?

Actually, it just occurred to me that I may know the solution after all. I'm not familiar enough with personal settings on this site to say for sure though. It is possible that the user you are trying to PM has PM's off, so it would be neither your fault nor the site's fault, but merely that the person in question doesn't want PM's.

It is also possible that we've deactivated the persons right to pm. Some people turn it off on their own, some people don't have the pm ability. Most of the people who have it turned off have previously used the pm system in a spammy manner.

Darth has his pm system turned on so I'm not sure. We'll look into it. I checked your account as well and you have the pm option as well.

Thanks. I tried an experiment, and was able to send a PM by manually typing in the name of the person. The trouble seems to be with clicking their name and hitting the ' contact ' button.

Ahhhh. That is because the contact button (not sure why you see that, maybe because you used to be a paid member with more privs) goes directly to the persons email. Most users unless they have elevated privs like a mod for example can't contact users via their email.
When you click on a persons name, scroll halfway down the page and you'll see...
