Thoughts on Senator Dole

I know this is was a little while back, but what are everyone's opinions on the atrocious comments made by Senator Dole - not as much her accusation, but rather the fact that her campaign found the accusation a worthwhile and substantial criticism? Are atheists not given the freedom to advocate a politican without attaching a stigma with the advocacy?

I'm afraid the only way Hagan won was because she spent a buttload of money on an ad disavowing atheism and affirming her christian values.

Oh well. At least she's a democrat.
