It would seem that the Vatican is upset by the Anglican Church voting to allow female bishops, citing it as an "obstacle to reconciliation". I know this is potentially a hot potato but I'm looking for some honest and considerate views here, mostly from Theists.  What are your opinions on female bishops?  The clergy in general?  If you are opposed what are the reasons for your opposition?

My personal opinion is that anyone who wants to become a priest should be allowed.  Christ favoured Magdalene after all...

I thought this forum would be suitable for the question as I'm not wanting to open hostile debate.  Just canvassing for opinion out of interest.  I'll trust the mods to correct me if I'm wrong
