I wish to thank Rook for reviewing my website. I should pull the Einstein tract. It seems fallicious, dubious etcetra. I will pull it if Rook will review another tract that I will post this week, entitled "The True Meaning of Christmas." or the one regarding "Easter Sunday is a great Day." This is a small blog entry just to thank Rook Hawkins. He's a gentlemen in that I have not responded much to his sincerity in searching scriptural arguments to counter mine. I must respect him for his effort.

I would like to address one thing Rook said regarding the bible door tracts website. http://bibledoor.no-ip.org/ also http://bibledoor.blogspot.com

Rook pointed out that Jesus said that he put up blocks to people comming to him. He is right. The message as Rook put it is not just one of love but one whereby Jesus actually blocks people from comming to Him as well. In John chapter nine we have recorded a story about how Jesus healed a blind man. He then said John 9:39 that He did it in order that the religious leaders would be made blind. Strange. Blind religious leaders. Hmm.

There's a principle in scripture whereby we must compare spiritual with spiritual to understand it. The Apostle Paul mentions that in 1 Cor 3. This same principle was described by King Solomon. He wrote in Ecclesiastes 12:9-11 that the preacher gathers many sayings, lays them in order then the things that he writes are given as by one shepherd and driven into the heart of hte hearers like goads given by one shephered. A goad is a stick that is used we call it a cattle-prod. It was used to poke the animals to get them to move into the coral or wherever you direct them. So we need to compare many scriptures and spiritual things to get the right message from scripture. That only begins to happen when we read it from cover to cover. A big task. I have taled to people who have attended church all their lives 50 years of attendance some of the old ones who have admited they never got around to reading it once. I thank God for people who question Christianity because it helps to make those that don't read and represent their belief properly to see the error in there ways. But unfortunately skeptics don't ever see their errors either. But God says a skeptic who is a true seeker will find what he seeks for. So I believe some who come here will find Christ. If Christ is real and alive and present in peoples lives today then He will talk to some who come here.

But reading the Bible from cover to cover doesn't help lay it in order either unless you have the Holy Spirit living in you to guide you through it. (John 14:16) That is why it is important that the Preachers that God has called (Christians) Mark 8 says all disciples are Chrsitians. All Christians in turn are told to preach the gospel to all the nations. So I am talking about all Chrsitians in that statement. It is important that God's Chrsitians / Preachers share their understanding of how it all ties together. Then it is important for those that hear to listen. The Preachers cannot control the listeners in that regard. But I must commend sites like this because there is some honesty and some listening and I do listen to you as well. I hope at least I do. But there is one voice which comest through when the preacher speaks its the still small voice of God. The voice from the triend that sticks closer than a brother Prov 4:8.

The previous two paragraphs are my lead in to the answer to what Rook noticed that Jesus actually blocks some people from knowing Him. The answer to the puzzle that he created with this statement can be found in Isaiah 29.

Isaiah 29 - 13 Therefore the Lord said: “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of Men, 14 Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work Among this people, A marvelous work and a wonder; For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.” … 18 In that day the deaf shall hear the words of the book, And the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity and out of darkness.

Isaiah 29 was a prophecy written 500 years before it was fulfilled by Jesus.

The reason Jesus blinded them to the truth in otherwords was because they were hypocrates. They claimed a knowledge of Him but they didn't care about Him. God looks not only at what you say but at the intention of your heart. These people had the right things to say with their lips but God saw their lack of sincerity in their hearts so he did not allow them to understand what He did in their midst.

In the same way if you are a true seeker you will find the truth but if you are not sincere in discussion regarding Jesus he will allow you to be blind to His truths. He looks at your heart.

Thanks again Rook.
