God was misquoted. He is allowed in schools. You just cant force him on the students there.
Children are allowed to pray all they like, and they do, especially before tests.

The bible also says that bats are birds, that rabbits chew their cud and that insects have 4 legs.
And then theres the instructions on exactly what kind of stone to use when stoning people, and what the limits are for beating your slaves, wife/wives, and children.
Would you like your daughter beaten by her husband?
Oh yeah and Divorce. How many of you are divorced? Are you aware that sex after divorce is adultry, even if you remarried?

Are you aware that it is women from the most "god fearing" homes that are getting the lions share of abortions?
Did you also know that that little verse about god knowing the number of hairs on your head doesnt mean every one, only the chosen prophets.
While god sets the price of (killed) male, and female adults and children, he does not set a price for unborn babies. He leaves that to the father.
Think of the massive numbers of spontanious abortions (miscarriages) God perfoms more abortions than human kind could ever hope to. Perhaps thats the right of this blood soaked war god.

Its not the schools/states responsibility to teach morals. That honor goes to the family. But I guess your not up to the job...given the abortion rates.

A nude human is not pornography. sexual intent is.

Its called changing the channel or not buying the product. Its amazing how well children (even the older ones) imitate their parents. Try being an example.

I hate this one with a passion.
God didn't do anything to save the victims of the Poe Elementary massacre in 1959 when formal prayer was still active in public schools. The man responsible for that atrocity killed five people including his own son as "God was on his side".
There was also the Bath School disaster in 1927 but I don't see that one being mentioned despite the fact it remains the biggest loss of life in a school related incident in US history.

Freedom of religious belief is an inalienable right. Stuffing that belief down other people's throats is not.

I think you make some good points!
Im going to go somewhat off topic here. Most of you that use myspace realize that those bulltenis are constantly filled with chain letters and what not. I was reading through them a couple days ago as i was bored at work. I read one that was a poem about some guy that beats his kids. At the end of it they of course have all these reasons why you should repost it. The end of this one said "Repost this or else you are saying that you approve of child abuse."

I saw a video version of this that had the same list... I think that they were just trying to pad it for sensationalism. The first thing that tipped me off was Conyers. I used to live 20 miles from there, and I remember that shooting. Guess what, no one died. Not even the shooter. He wounded 6 people, a few just because of ricochet, and then threatened to commit suicide (he didn't and was apprehended). So, no deaths, no children that god should have "saved".
Now, Paducah, KY: A 14-year-old opened fire on a student prayer circle in a hallway at Heath High School in West Paducah, Kentucky. Three students were killed and five others wounded. Unless God just didn't like those kids, I thought we were to understand that if you were praying God would be right there listening.
