Tonight at the bar I've started working at we had a private function on. It was a Christening for a very large black Christian family. It was kinda odd, the music was one of the weirdest thing, most of it was black music, a lot about girls, and hoes and all that stuff, i.e. the not too Christian stuff, and then there was loads of gospel shit about using the bible as a weapon.

The weirdest thing though was this old guy, who was a member of the family who was atheist. Even though no one said anything, you could tell he was alienated from the rest of the family somewhat. He spent most of the time he was there chatting at the bar with me and my colleague.

It was a bloody monster shift tonight though, 5pm till midnight! I'm exhausted.
