Offline So here I am, cruising the forums, revelling in being around those who actually utilize their brains. I look at the bottom of the page, and see THIS.
Now yes, I know the Google ads are randomly generated/selected. But I just had to wonder how many people went to their website from here and how much business they get from this site.. 
And this photo was not doctored in any way short of a crop to make it not as huge and a conversion from .bmp to .gif
As a postscript, I decided to look at http://www.7kabundantlife.com/ , the site they were shilling. Apparently god has told them to be rich. And it's 'based on biblical principles'. Now I don't claim to be a biblical scholar.. but where does it state that god wants anyone to be rich. I seem to remember something about an 'eye of a needle'..
And at the bottom of the page we see this. Some Reps make no money at all in this or any business for a variety of reasons. ..
'Mommy!! Satan dosen't want me to be rich!'.. 'Shut up, Bubba.. go down to the Piggly Wiggly and get me some menthols and bob bons.'

This is like playing Duck Hunt!! Some of the things I've found just have made me smile. Like THIS gem from the Share Heaven website advertised on the Google ad.
Today's 'Thing I never thought I'd see'..
A Christian website with a picture named 'http://www.shareheaven.org/images/hvn_manson_sml.jpg'
So heaven gets abbreviated.. and Manson does not.. I guess we see where the website coder's loyalties are. And I'd wager that damn near EVERYONE if placed on a spectrum lies between mother Teresa and Manson. At least if the mother wasn't a sick religious nutjob. Wait.. crap.. they're BOTH religious whackjobs. Granted, it IS amusing to see Charlie in the front page of a Christian website. What's next. Hitler on dateachristian.com? Granted, that WOULD be amusing.

yeah, the google ads can be amusing, I think I mentioned them once, but I could be just drunk. (which I am).

I need to get my GF on this site to share some funny stories about that. When she lived in Ohio (*shudder*) she worked at a video store across the street from a church. Every single Sunday, right after Mass, the men would file out of the church and go into the video store. They'd rent two or three normal movies for their kids (as "cover" to hide the adult movies inbetween) and then head to the "back room" to rent some really raunchy shit. It wasn't one or two guys. It was scores of them that'd come in and rent the nasty porn right after church.
So much for Christian chastity.
