How my day went [not off-topic, still about Xianity]...

So this week was my BFF's spring break. She lives two hours away from me but her granparents live about 30 minutes. Almost every weekend, I spend the night with her there. We've been BFFs and more-than-friends for a year and about 8 months. That's not the point. The point is, as long as I've been friends with her, her grans have never said anything about my Tripps and band shirts, all-black outfits that I wear all the time. Well, last night her grans' neighbor, this preppy slut, added me on MySpace. We have pics of us making out and stuff so I blocked off that certain blog and decided "Hey, she's not a complete stranger, why not?" and accepted the friend request. After a while of thought, I deleted her, figuring my page with it's bi pride and atheism would somehow bite me in the ass. I was so right. So today I was planning on spending the night, or week, with Brandie [my best friend] since I've dropped out of school and everything. I was with her the whole day and then her papa and granny wanted to talk to us. We guessed it was for catching us smoking earlier. Nope. It was because a certain little bitch across the street printed out some blogs of mine and my pictures in my 'friend album'. There were two blogs, one of which I forgot about until today, about the day that Brandie had to go to YDC and then move away and live with her parents [who I could be okay with if I killed... hehe] where I put stuff like "I miss her so much, I don't know if I'll ever see her again. I love you, babe, no matter where you are and I'd give anything to kiss you right now..." The other blog was an article from the newspaper I had sent in a long while ago, sometime last year, about gay rights. The pics that the girl had access to were just us gothed-out and one of her kissing me on the cheek, and another of her in just a bra and a fishnet shirt. How, you ask, does this have to do with Xians? I'll tell you that. So her granparents had went through my CDs and said that we were worshiping the music I listened to and that we were both bad influences on each other. They basically tried to spoon-feed us their beliefs [not surprising, they are Xians after all]. Then her papa took me home because he didn;t want that devil-worship in his house and offered to get me for church tomorrow morning. I ignored them. That was the most uncomfortable car ride ever.

I guess the whole point of this is just to rant about how much today sucked in the end and that I might not see my bestest friend ever again because of some stupid religion. It's crap! They've never said anything about it before. Ever.

These folks thought it was

These folks thought it was fine all this time until a nosy neighbor butted in.

That just sucks.

I'm sorry you have to go through this.

That is just awful... I

That is just awful... I have no other way to describe it. People need to learn to mind their own business. And past that, it shouldn't be an issue to begin with.

I hope that everything finds a way to work out for you. You don't have to lose your friend-just keep in touch until you have the ability to get away from those who wish to keep you apart. Good luck, and try your best not to get discouraged. Saying it's crap is an understatement. Family members have no right to seperate two people that love each other. Sorry if this reads a bit heated, I feel very strongly about this sort of thing...as can be told from my MySpace page among other things.

Humanity needs compassion and knowledge-an end to bigotry and undue ignorance. Religion stands in the way of these and my other ideals so strongly that I can't think of a stance apart from atheism that will allow me to feel like a decent human being.

That's really shit!! I hope

That's really shit!! I hope it works out for you. A friend of mine has just come out to all but his Catholic parents as bi. In fact it was his birthday yesterday and we got completely trashed in Manchester's gay village which is always fun. But his parents would go absolutely beserk if they found out, they kicked him out for a few days a few years ago when they found him watching gay porn.

When I told my mum he'd come out she was pleased for him. Homophobes suck though, especially when they're your parents or whatever.

Heh, I'll flat out say that I'm a Bisexual Anarchist Atheist Geek, and to sum up the rest of my post... I just have a few quotes that I live my life by.

-T.J. Smith

"Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile."
-Unknown

"“Be Who You Are And Say What You Feel Because Those Who Mind Don't Matter And Those Who Matter Don't Mind.”
-Theodor Seuss Geisel

“You Know You're In Love When You Can't Fall Asleep Because Reality Is Finally Better Than Your Dreams.”

Heh. My boyfriend is bi and attends a college pride club. He recently bought us both shirts that have this on the back and "Pride Upstate" on the front. Can't wear it in front of my family, though.

But anyway, thanks everyone. It's always great to see nice people like you all. I mean, I never used to make friends with Xians ever, even when I was one. And we're the bad guys?

I just watched a documentary

I just watched a documentary about the nasty Phelps family and their "God Hates Fags" campaign! Absolutely fucking sick!! The presenter, Louis Theroux who was living with them was really good at laughing it off and humouring them.
