I'll understand if some of you may not want to say ... but I'm curious where you'all are coming from.
I grew up in New Haven, Connecticut and live in Brooklyn, NY. Anyone else live in NYC?
[Also, are there any plans for a RRS meet-up? Dance-party? Ice cream social in Phila?]

Born and raised in Curitiba, South of Brazil!
Cute - I take pride in being from the very sensible state of Connecticut ... and living in a city where they've replaced prophetic religion with regulated capitalism and really really nice, expensive shoes.

We will see if they can repeat. They might be in for a tough haul, everyone is always gunning for the champs.
I'm by Union Square. Park Ave. I'm supposed to be working too...

Originally from San Antonio, TX, but I now live on Whidbey island (an island in the northern part of the Puget sound) in Washington State. Probably will move into Seattle in a year or two.
Why do I have the growing fear that the Feds are taking note of our locations, and sending out goons to "correct" us?
There are no theists on operating tables.
LOL! Oh well.
Some theist on myspace managed to get my home address 4 months ago and said he was going to show up with his friends. But none of them ever showed up.
Yesterday, I told him that if he ever came to my house, me and him could fight in a mixed martial arts street fight (I know Jeet Kune Do and he claims to know martial arts). Instead, he replied with this...

Born in Tucson, AZ, fairly recently moved to Little Rock, AR.
Well, I'm not a NARC (or the religious equivalent - if you check my myspace, I'm actually a real person) ... I do sometimes want to be one of those decoys for "To Catch a Predator ..." That'd be exciting and kinda fun ...

I didn't bother learning. I have an axe, a couple of hatchets, about 20 hammers of different sizes and three sledgehammers, a few wrenches and, of course, kitchen knives of all sizes and degrees of sharpness. And all strategically placed within the house. My fence is made of wooden spikes, if the need should ever occur.
If it's not obvious yet, I'm from Romania, right from the middle of Transylvania (and no, we do NOT have vampires). For those who do not believe that Transylvania is actually real, they should know that it's the region inside the Carpathian mountains, stretching to the border between Romania and Hungary.

So you know about this guy:
Born in Indiana. Left there at 24
I've also lived in Mississippi(2 places) and Alabama. I'm in Tennessee now.
Staked fences and Jeet kun do. Boys, didn't your grand-dad ever tell you not to bring a knife to a gunfight?

Grew up in a teeeeeeeny town in Missouri. I spent 17 years in St. Louis. (For those in the know, I was actually in West County.)
I've been in Kansas City since December of '89. I moved here in -60 degree wind chill. It was SO cold ("How cold was it?") that the moving van froze overnight even though it was on a heater and my move didn't take place for another 4 days.

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland... or as the locals would say "Ballmer." *sigh* Goofy accent around here... thankfully, I didn't acquire it.
I lived for roughly 10 years in upstate NY, for college and the aftermath, but now I'm back home temporarily.
Yeah, I know. We should be ashamed of ourselves.

Born and raised in Warren Pa (bout an hour east from Erie). We built that St. Louis Arch everyone loves. We shipped it in peice's so that it would be easier to be put up in St. Louis. My dad was one of the Welders that worked on it... Thats bout the only exciting thing bout my town.
I'm actually from India, but I've been living in Indiana for several years.
Knoxville, Tennessee - Home of the first Darwin Day celebration.
That would be so cool for a rrs meet-up. It'd be like atheists taking over a town for a day.
I was born in Middletown, Ohio and lived there until 8 years old. Then my mom (post divorce) moved me and my sis to Chattanooga, TN, migrating around Lawrenceburg, Waynesboro, Mt. Pleasant,TN, then moved to Marion, OH, then to Kentucky, then to West Virginia, then by the time I turned 12 we were back to Mt. Pleasant, TN. I stayed there till I was 16, then up to my dad's in Middletown, OH until I was off to the Navy.
So it's not so much where I'm from but where I've been. I don't feel rooted anywhere.
I'm from Canada and live in China and Hong Kong
"Physical reality” isn’t some arbitrary demarcation. It is defined in terms of what we can systematically investigate, directly or not, by means of our senses. It is preposterous to assert that the process of systematic scientific reasoning arbitrarily excludes “non-physical explanations” because the very notion of “non-physical explanation” is contradictory.

Hehe... Yeah, I know about that guy. Vlad Tepes (which translates as "Vlad the Impaler". Although he had a sweet tooth for extreme justice, impaling enemies, bloody hit&run tactics (the most famous is an attack at night over an ottoman camp, Vlad and his group of soldiers being also dressed in turkish costumes, thus creating panic and making the ottomans not being able to tell who's freind and who's foe... casualties were about 60% of the whole camp), he most definitely wasn't a blood-consumer.
The inspiration for Abraham Stoker's "Dracula" actually seems to have come from Vlad's father, whose name translates, roughly, as "the Devil", due to his noticeable bloodlust.
