Hi there

Az here. New to the board but not to rational thought. Just wanted to say hi there and find out whats what.

I have been actively trying to advance the cause of reason, rational thought for some time now and its always good to find other people similarly engaged. Skeptics and atheists tend to have a hard time finding each other in a society that favors faith and belief. So while we have had some success finding each other here on the net I struggle to find a way to bring us together in the greater public domain.

I'll be doing just fine once I get off this damn boat.

Other than that, I too am new to this particular location of the unterweb.

Some days it's just hard to keep my mouth shut.

Riding a bike (or a motorcycle) teaches one to keep their mouth shut.... unless you really see bugs as a source of protein. Laughing out loud

All this talk of boats is reminding me of work, which I finally left (the boat). Some days, I really regret certain decisions I made Eye-wink

While in the gulf, we had a chaplain that kept coming down to our space, he was rather annoying, and after awhile I got sick of keeping my mouth shut... I don't remember exactly what was said, but he never came back down while I was on watch =)

I typically try to comepletey cut myself off from work on the weekends, so that way I can open my mouth and not have to worry about someone getting really pissed off Eye-wink
