Greetings all, this is JeffK627 from Jake's Atheist Network. Several of you here probably know me already from there. I have the (dubious) distinction of being one of two (I think) "Free Range Theists" at that forum, which means I have the privilege of posting anywhere on the AN as opposed to being locked up in the Theist "Holding Pen".

Theistically speaking, I'm a Wiccan. I have had personal experiences that reinforce my deity belief. I make no claim as to the validity of those experiences for anyone but myself, I couldn't prove a damn one of them in a laboratory, and I do not ask nor expect anyone to believe what I believe.

I understand and accept Evolution and what science tells us about geological processes and how long they take, and I fully understand the irrational and contradictory nature of all religions, including my own.

When asked why I practice my religion in the face of that statement, my answer is that I do it for the same reason that I eat chocolate: I like it, and it makes me feel good.
