A "WTF" Moment (Large Picture)

So, I am posting a reply in this thread, and I get the inkling to search Google for a cool metal pic to put in the reply (later just used a lame ASCII emoticon). So, I go to Google Images, and type "hail metal" into the bar. One of the results was this image:

WTF?!? Is it just me or does this look like LeftOfLarry? Have I gone crazy? Is it really him? Need answers. Maybe it's just the long black hair and the metal sign.

Yell

[EDIT: Fixed the width of the pic]

Sassy, please tell me that someone had to pay thousands of dollars for that smile and that you pay someone frequently to maintain that gorgeous hair.

If either or both came to you naturally, I'm depressed.

As I told Iruka, blondes and redheads make me very jealous!  Sassy, thanks for posting your pic.  You are adorable but I must say, since I am partial to the guys, thanks for including your boyfriend in the photo.  He is handsome and you two look very, very happy together!

Thanks BGH, I was afraid my intro was too long to interest anyone, but I had to tell the whole story. If anything I am the lucky one, if not for my hubby I would have probably never made the decision to think for myself and live my life for ME! I don't know why everyone thinks I'm hot...I'm just average. Embarassed

I notice that you offer no numbers.  Hence, there will be a quiz.

What was Hullaballoo?

Who was Mark Lindsay?

Who is Leslie Hornsby?

Who was Mrs. Peel?  To who was she a sidekick?

Who was Illya Kuryakin?

What were you doing with Kennedy was shot?

(No, you may not use Google.)

Did you get a weird show called The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan?

I believe Emma Peel was a widow.  However, on the series finale when she left ****'s apartment (I left the name out in hopes that AiiA will answer), she went downstairs and got into a convertible driven by a good looking gentleman.

Yes, we got The Prisoner, but I didn't watch it.

Who was Illya Kuryakin? I Spy character

What were you doing with Kennedy was shot? In school - I forget which class.

But I did wear Madras shirts, tight blue jeans, white socks and Converse white sneakers , used Vitalise, OldSpice, played 45's, combed my hair like Elvis, owned a hoolahoop, smoked Camels, PallMall,& LuckyStrikes, bought Ed Burns "Kooki Kookie, Lend Me Your Comb, watched the Viet Nam war on NBC Nightly news with Chet and Huntly, had a 9 transister portable radio, watched Mr. Wizard,  went to drive-ins, went to record hops, drove '57 chevy and a Volkswagon Beetle, .............not in that order

sigh

I also remember watching the Huntly/Brinkley reports on the Vietnam War. (Excuse me, "police action&quotEye-wink.  I had a transistor radio, but it only took 2 batteries.  We had lots of sock hops on Saturday nights with the DJs from a Kansas City Top 40 radio station.  My first car was a '65 Malibu (no foiks, it wasn't a sports car at all), but I didn't get it until  1972.

Looks like you're maybe about 5 years older than I and missed the British Invasion.

What was Hullaballoo? a party?

Hullaballoo was a "pop" TV show with dancers, very much like Shindig.  Ah, remember the Go-Go Boots?

Who was Mark Lindsay? Mayor of NY

Uh, no.  Try "Paul Revere and the Raiders featuring Mark Lindsay".  (Heavily favored by Dick Clark)

Who is Leslie Hornsby? Bruce's wife

Twiggy

Who was Mrs. Peel? To who was she a sidekick? Dont know

Emma Peel was the sidekick to Steed on The Avengers.  She was the one that wore the skin tight leather body suits. (I thought all guys knew that one.)

Who was Illya Kuryakin? I Spy character

David McCallum in The Man From U.N.C.L.E.  (U.N.C.L.E. = United Network Command for Law and Enforcement).  David McCallum is currently in a TV series "NCIS".  There was a great line one week when one of the young gals opined, "I wonder what Ducky looked like when he was younger."  The answer was "Illya Kuryakin".  I howled, but also wondered how many people wouldn't get the joke.

What were you doing with Kennedy was shot? In school - I forget which class.

I was in the 6th grade, Mrs. Long's class.  You must have been in high school if you had separate classes.

You're right - - - -> *sigh*  I'm going to go take my rumatiz medicine now.
