I was thinking about this yesterday.

Christians have often told me about how "liberating" their faith is (when they're trying to sell me on it).

In a small way, I have to agree.

A Christian can do things that are unacceptable, even reprehensible to the morals of society and even the edicts of their God. when their actions are discovered, all they have to do is show some remorse, pray to their God for forgiveness and promise not to do it again (until it becomes beneficial or convenient for them). When they do that, they claim that they're pure again and on their way to their happy afterlife.

I guess not being bound by society's rules can be liberating in its own way. It's still not how I'd want to live.

Any thoughts?

Mods - if this is in the wrong spot feel free to relocate it (I'm new at this).
