What a shit article - way to take comments out of context. Dawkins is a secret intelligent design proponent?
The original article is better and doesn't focus on some terrible Fox news guy rather than the actual debate:

However, in these kind of debates I think it's more interesting to look at the shift of opinion between the start and end of the debate rather than merely final figures. Sure, more people opposed the motion, but the real question should surely be, did people change their opinion by the end of the debate more to one side? That in my opinion should be the side that 'wins' - unfortunately this information is lacking.

HAHAHA, the entire article is based on Fox News contributor, Johnnie Moore.
DOH!

And here is the article where he claims the "win" for theists...

(Edit)
I find "religious" people like this Johnnie Moore very funny. They make outlandish claims about their faith and present it as factual.
When presented with the other gods and other "holy" books of other religions they claim their god is the one and only.
When presented that all other beliefs have the same exact foundations and same exact claims, they deny the others as false beliefs.
He did lose, 324 to 126.

But surely the point should be the conversion rate?
If this was held in front of a group of mostly religious people, and the vote started 400-100 and ended 350-150, he loses on final figures, but has managed to successfully change the minds of 50 more people than his opponent.. would this not be considered being successful in the debate?
