Accused witch burned alive

Not surprised that this is still going on in such a backwater country.

And Islam

http://islam.worldofislam.info/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=454

Ways of Treating Sihr (witchcraft or magic)

There are different kinds of treatment:

1 – He can look at what the saahir (person who practices sihr) has done. For example, if he has put some of his hair in a place, or in a comb, or somewhere else, if it is discovered that he has put it in such-and-such a place, it should be removed and burnt or destroyed. This will cancel out what has been done and will foil the intentions of the saahir.

2 –The saahir should be forced to undo what he has done, if his identity is known. It should be said to him, “Either you undo what you have done, or you will be executed.” After he has undone it, he should still be executed by the authorities, because the saahir should be killed without being asked to repent, according to the correct view.

and lots more.

Every time you think islam can't get any sillier or more disgusting...

Okay, any muslim or christian want to come in this thread and talk about how reasonable their religion is ?

No ? You'd rather prattle on about the bible, the qu'ran or philosophy ? You'd rather not look too closely at what happens when people take your crap seriously ?

Said it before, and I'll have plenty more reasons to say it again, but you're all a bunch of fucking cowards.

And Judaism

http://www.myjewishlearning.com/beliefs/Issues/Magic_and_the_Supernatural/Practices_and_Beliefs/Supernatural_Beings/Witches.shtml

The threat of a witch may be deterred by reciting the following curse (Pesahim 110a): "May boiling excrement in a sieve be forced into your mouth, (you) witches! May your head go bald and carry off your crumbs; your spices be scattered, and the wind carry off the new saffron in your hands, witches!"

Seven loops of knots (tied to the left side of the body) are also a good defense against illness caused by witchcraft (Shabbat 66b).

They're all at it

http://www.vedicwisdom.com/magicvoodoo.php

Here are some points that will help you understand the basics of the spirit world.

WOMEN are more vulnerable to the spirit influence when compared to men.
Symptoms are more obvious in women and less obvious in men, hence men are at a greater risk of losing their lives as they seldon come to the realization that they are a victim of the spirit world unless the man is deeply spiritual and carries a much higher state of awareness when compared to a common man/woman.
Beautiful/Attractive women are more vulnerable to the spirit influence.

WHAT MAKES YOUR AURIC SHIELD BECOME WEAK; OPENING YOU TO THE SPIRIT WORLD?

Eating a variety of meat products everyday
Taking drugs or consuming too much alcohol
Stress & depression
Visiting the graveyard or the cremation ground
Visiting jungles/forests and lonely & deserted places
Visiting the ancient ruins, forts & monuments, caves & pyramids and old/deserted ships
Going to dirty & unhygenic places like bars & night clubs
Hosting thoughts of jealousy & hatred
Bursting anger and emotional outbreak
Having sex with unhygenic partners; specially around dark & full moon nights
Accidents or sickness

Technically speaking, all

Technically speaking, all the religions have some form of witchcraft. Look at any of the religions and it would be like reading a Dungeon and Dragons players handbook.

True. I think it would be much better if D&D was an actual religion...  Think of all the holidays and special events...

You'd have to take a minimum

You'd have to take a minimum 5 years of schooling just to memorise all the gods and their dominions.

not to mention casual sex with big-breasted women...at least, that's what i always used rp for...

"I have never felt comfortable around people who talk about their feelings for Jesus, or any other deity for that matter, because they are usually none too bright. . . . Or maybe 'stupid' is a better way of saying it; but I have never seen much point in getting heavy with either stupid people or Jesus freaks, just as long as they don't bother me. In a world as weird and cruel as this one we have made for ourselves, I figure anybody who can find peace and personal happiness without ripping off somebody else deserves to be left alone. They will not inherit the earth, but then neither will I. . . . And I have learned to live, as it were, with the idea that I will never find peace and happiness, either. But as long as I know there's a pretty good chance I can get my hands on either one of them every once in a while, I do the best I can between high spots."
--Hunter S. Thompson
