Aron Ra also has a very in-depth knowledge of evolution. He speaks very rapidly and can bombard anyone with a shit-ton of facts within a couple of minutes. He also has a good grasp of logical fallacies. Ray is going to make a fool out of himself once again.
Of course, Ray has an impressive track record of doing that.
Sometimes, Ray is so close to resembling a POE that I have a hard time believing that he is simply not in it for the money and doesn't believe a single word of it. I mean, it is really hard for me to believe that a guy like that could be serious. However, with no shortage of bullshit in the world, you never know

If it's anything like the debate Ray had with Brian (Sapient), he'll lose it with his opening statement and the rest of it will be appealing to faith.. I.e. a waste of everyone's time. No wonder Dawkins refused to debate him...
Believe it or not, this theist that I am currently debating on FB, thinks that Ray held his own in the debate on Nightline. Some people I tell you. SOME PEOPLE.

The moderator knew their server had crashed and it was the most hits he had gotten ever.
AronRa tore Ray apart. It showed how Ray does not want to be confused with the facts. When AronRa patiently tried to explain to Ray evolution, Ray refused to follow the conversation. He knows if he heard it he would start to question his faith. AronRa mentioned he watched the Sapient/Comfort debate beforehand and pointed out what Sapient had said that Ray goes off script almost immediately. Ray doesn't debate...he has an agenda. When Ray was given the floor he just "preached'.
Interestingly AronRa started to talk about the rise of the sexes which is another thread going on here with Harley.
I liked how AronRa cornered Ray on his lying. He lies about Darwin and evolution. Jesus don't like liars. Liars go to hell.
I enjoyed listening to it. It was way too short even though it was an hour. There may be second debate but I am sure Ray will back out.

Ray definitely lost that one too. Lost it rather badly in my opinion. But what else is new in that department ? However, it is always fun to watch Aron Ra work. I enjoyed listening to it.
EDIT : I got a little irritated that Ray kept insisting he was not being allowed to finish his "statements" when Ray was constantly interrupting. I also noticed that Ray had to ask AronRa to dumb down a few of Aron's statements, because they were too complex for Ray to grasp.

Yeah that was a bit painful to listen to, AronRa pretty much just thumped the hell out of him, of coruse Ray not wanting to admit to proper definitions of words (shocking) or even try to understand what evolution is, shows exactly his position is one filled with lies and willful ignorance. Over all AronRa was great...ray was as always just full of himself and ignorant as hell.
Yes. After being shown up for a fool many times over for his "Banana: The Atheist's Nightmare" argument, he apologized for his ignorance, then reveled in the attention and increased book sales it brought him.
When ignorance and dishonesty pay off so well, why would Ray want to actually learn anything?
