I post all over the web, but I want a back up in case my computer or one particular website goes down.

I have decided to edit this post because I do not like giving people the wrong impression. I cannot read Shakespeare to save my life. I just remember this one line from act 5 scene 5 and put my own spin on it. I've had to explain this over and over so here I decided to put that in this post so there is no more presuming what I know or don't know. But the plot of MacBeth is the old lesson, you can have everything and nothing at all at the same time. And how did all that cruelty serve you in the end? But I do not like play summeries calling him a Nihisist, because it is possible to not do what he did, and accept life as being finite, and sitll have morals without religion. 

 

NEW EDIT 9/19/22 I got pissed at myself that I was scared to read MacBeth, so tonight, I forced myself to read it online. Now mind you, I did not understand it line for line, but basically Macbeth was an assdhole who murdered his way to the top, and did not believe the 3 witches prophcies. He murdered Duncan and had Banquo murdered. Banquo's ghost haunts Macbeth. And made the grave mistake of attacking McDuff's family and killing them(If I am reading this correctly) But Lady MacBeth has a guilty conscience and kills herself, upon finding out Macbeth basically says that life is not worth living and he should go down with a fight anyway, but refuses to fight  Macduff face to face and Macduff kills him as the hero. ( I SERIOUSLY read the entire play every line, tonight.  I even know where the famous line "double double, toil and trouble". comes from. The three witches, basically saying "look out Macbeth" your ass is in trouble. 

So basically the moral of the play, don't be a fucking asshole when trying to get to the top, or "the bigger they are the harder they fall". Reminds me of the movie Scarface and all the shitty things Tony did to get to the top and all for not. But Sosa in that case was not a good guy either.

Creeps in this petty tyrant from day to day

Until the extinction of humanity new ones will be invented

And all our yesterday's Gods have been created by fools

The way to tribal death. Out out brief myth

Claims are but a walking shadow, a poor reflection

That struts our narcissism upon the stage

And then is heard no more. It is a tale

Told by the credulous, full of sound and fury

Signifying nothing.

Carolina Blue

Turned State red

Over nothing new

 

Deah, Razan and Abu

Armed with books and pens

Looking for degrees

No ill intent

 

This is no pack of wolves

No rams with black hooves

Just fellow humans

Looking to improve

 

At why do those 

In the east

Or here at home

Murder each other

 

Because humans

Have still to see

It is violence in the name

Of dieities

 

A man in a cage 

Lit on fire

Co eds shot

All in the head

 

Japanese contractors

And western reporters

This is not the the goal

Of higher learning

 

This is my disertation

My condemnation

Of religious violence

In our species.

 

The highest learning

Humanity can aspire

We are one species

Life our desire

 

Since writing this

I have learned

The monster who did this

Claims to be godless

 

Anti theism

Is not pro violence

"Atheist" is a position

Not a moral code

 

I'll take on atheists

Who falsely claim

They'll treat theist better

In the future

 

Evolution

Will produce

Both cruelty and compassion

No matter the label

 

Niether Maher 

Or Dawkins

Or Sam Harris

Ever advocated violence to others

They faslely think

They can silence the west

Stabbed to death

Called for his death

Paris France

They falsely think

 

Threats don't work

It will continue

We will criticise 

We will blaspheme you

 

To the violent ones

Who kill for a god

He cant defend himself

Without your help?

 

Only an idiot

Thinks an insult

When it tells you

To be loyal

At the expense

Of outsiders

 

When it tells you

God needs you

To get violent

Try it

 

When it tells you

You have the right

To submit others

To your social pecking orders

 

Do what they say

Word for word

Dont don't skip over

The violent verses

 

Allah and Yahweh

And Jesus too

They're all chosen

Given land too

 

You all have the right

To do what it says

To get viloent 

To protect your god

 

Moderates 

My friends on the left

Well intended

Politically correct

 

You forget

The violent ones

Use the same books

You always ignore

 

The violent right

Are the ones 

Who don't water it down

Take them word for word

 

The same weapons

With the same words

To do what they say

Would make you a monster

 

Our civility

In the west

Is because we ignore

Those tribal words

 

There is no way

To square those books

With our universall empathy

That resides in us

 

Try doing

What it says

Dont skip over

The violence in them

 

If you cant

That is great

But don't pretend

The words aren't the same

 

The compassonate left

Uses the same books

As the violent ones

And both cherry pick

 

Our species compassion

Is not in those myths

Have always been in us

We only have us

 

Don't believe me?

Do what they say

When the book calls for

Violence and bigotry

 

If you cant

That is you

Your empathy

Not the book.

Pretty toys

Full of color

Rotate them

For your pleasure

 

They do nothing

But entertain

Give no insight

To knowledge

 

Veiw nothing

But empty verses

To justify 

History's horrors

 

The toy company

Sells to all

Look at the colors

Of their utopias

 

They detest

Any question

Any objection

Of it's substance

 

It is no telescope

It was never useful

Other than to placate

Our species ego

 

The toy is dangerous

The children don't share

Led painted logic

Sharp edges stab

 

They point to the pretty

Dwell in the past

Claim to own morality

Over our entire species

 

The kaliedscope 

Is no toy

It is a weapon

They use to distroy

 

To bludgen and beat

Outsiders to submission

Or at best

Know your place

 

This toxic toy

Needs a recall

It never explained

Reality at all

Don't switch positions

For emotional reasons

Don't leave religion

Because of hypocrisy

 

Don't leave religion

To be different

To be a badass

To make a statement

 

Dont become an atheist

Because I say so

Dont believe me

Because I say so

 

Read your bible

Read your Koran

Read your OT

And you will find

 

They were not written

Yesterday

With control groups

Or peer review

 

They were written

In antiquity

In an age of ignorance

And tribalism

 

They reflect not

Our modern knowledge

Mere traditions

Reflecting the times

 

We've grown out

Of the past

Left many claims

In the dust

 

We no longer

Believe in son gods

We no longer

Believe Thor makes lightening

 

We've done fine

Since discarding those claims

We can do better

Leaving the past behind

 

I say this not

To discourage rights

But to challenge everyone

To think for themselves.

This tiny outpost

In this hostle universe

5 mass extinctions

We have to accept

 

There is no cosmic

Army of God

This is no time

To play capture the flag

 

We have many problems

Science can fix

We cannot solve them

With needless distractions

Same as Casandra 

Saw the the distruction

In the visions of the future

 

We are the rabbits

The ship in the water

Fiver's visions

Of a safe place

 

Kings promised land

Jews seek the same

Islamic Jihad 

There are no seers

 

We are the rabbits

Distroying our habitat

Killing each other

Over what the frauds sell

 

"The Chosen people"

We also sold

 

The horrible idea

That God said

Your blue eyes

And blond hair

 

Gave you the right

To kill the rabbits

The same thing

Christians did to natives

The real seers

Are the scientists

 

The ones who understand

Our behavior has not changed

Dispite the labels

We hide behind

 

We slaughter the rabbits

Out of ignorance

We are the rabbits

For the same reason

 

The safe land

Where peace can be found

Isn't a location

Based on a boarder

 

It is our attitude

Globally

That this is the only

Home we have

Note.....I put "Casandra" in not related to Watership Down of course, but the mytholocial idea which polutes human thought that there is a magic way to talk to gods or a god or spirits. The real reason we slaughter each other is becuase of our own ignorance that we are simply competing for resorces and far too often we concoct all sorts of elaborate ideologies in religion politics and business models, and ultimately what we really are doing is making excuses to be on top. Once you understand evolution, and once you understand we are not a separate species, the peace we all want as humans becomes about cooperation, not censorship, not boarders not a game of capture the flag.

Watership Down is a work of fiction. But you look at all religions polytheistic and monotheistic they are conveying the same human nature, our desires to survive and defeat threats to us.

I hate myself, I should kill myself, with all the horrors I commit. My delusions of self importance, my mental illness builds into the pyre of cruelty. I am the barbarity of our migrant past, prior to Cuneiform writing. My childish paintings of animals on cave walls. My futile monuments that will erode as well. How arrogant of me to think I am the only or first to feel pain. Stabbing and gutting girls and babies in the false hope that the spilling of blood will gain favor from a nothingness.

Now maybe if I stop worshiping animals, and make them human, that will fix things. But it does not. Then I take my selfishness and streamline it thinking this monotheistic anthropomorphism is any less of a placebo. I hate myself, because my sacrifice isn't altruistic but nothing more than circling the wagons. I need to commit suicide because I am not worthy of the stewardship beyond my own bias.

No more love of blood, no more magic of blood, be it animal or human, polytheistic or monotheistic. DIE you vile concept, stop dwelling in me, I will force you to commit suicide by accepting the flicker you are that Sagan is screaming from his grave about.

Commit suicide delusion, whatever that harsh truth is, so that your only death gives way to reality to make better this finite ride.

Losing a loved one

No parent likes

Losing their child

 

The compassion 

That sent her there

Is the same compassion

Of Norwegian Muslims

 

Who surrounded 

A Synagogue 

The empathy

In all of us

 

I have to be blunt

In your trying times

You have to remember

Your God was watching

 

Epicurus questioned this

Concept of love

This all powerful parent

Watched and did nothing

 

I have loved ones

And friends as well

I feel the same pain

When they suffer or die

 

The Japanese

Murdered by Isis

Don't believe in Jesus

Or Allah for that matter

 

They also have mothers

Brothers and sisters

They feel the same loss

Without the same god

 

What sent Kayla there

Is the same thing

That sent them there

Universal evolutionary empathy

 

I hate the idea

That pain is a patent

Owned by one label

In a garden

Then you get told

You will not be pardoned

 

You get to name

That arround you

From the plants

To the animals 

 

Then from your rib

Your mate is extracted

You have everything

You've ever wanted 

 

But then a serpent

Calls to her

Neither aware

You are mere pawns

 

You had no say

In the set up

Both of you

Are poker chips

 

The fruit of the tree

She is to blame

Dispite having

No consent

 

He made you

And her as well

You had no say

From the begining

 

You are property

The army ants

To be burned

With the magnifing glass

Tell me why

It is good

To base morality

On any old book

 

Jews on a plane

Held it hostage

Becasue the men

Couldn't sit next to women

 

Then they claim

And falsely so

You advocate genocide

Becasuse you object

 

And if you say

Their laws are not secular

If it is based on the Talmud

You get equated to Hitler

 

I am not anti Jewish

I am anti bad logic

To base human morality

On any old book

 

It never occurs

To the fans of these clubs

That all three fight

Over what this god wants

 

And absurdly so

With no evidence

When you call them on this

They make it about race

 

The Muslims cop out

To this too

Accuse Jews and Christians

Hiding behind "Arab"

 

Dont insult Islam

Or the Pope

Don't question Jews

For their books are sacred

 

This outsider

Has had enough

Of all three

Ignoring the truth

 

It is not about rights

No one should use violence

It is your bad use of logic

Basing morality on old books

 

Tell me why

It is so important

To dig your heels in the ground

And fight over thus

 

There were humans prior

Too all three

There are other religions

That also exist

 

Tell me why

Is so important

To base a state on?

 

It seems to divide

More than it unites

You all cry victim

And bludgen the other

 

Tell me why

You cant get along

Tell me why

You deserve taboos?

 

What kind of god

Do any of you have

To allow you to fight

In his name

 

Tell me why

It is so important

To cling to these claims

Instead of insisting on non violence?

 

I am not anti Jewish

Or anti Christian

I am not anti Muslim

Just pro reason

 

Tell me why

At a minimum

It is so hard

To handle questioning?

 

Tell me why

It is more important

To avoid blasphemy

Just so your feelings arn't hurt?

 

Israel 

No one should want

To wipe you off the map

Or stick Jews in ovens

 

But for the same reason

I question Christians

When they insist

On bible based Constitutions

 

For the same reason

I question Islam

When they get violent

Over cartoons

 

All these traditions

Were started long ago

Does anyone think

They reflect modern pluralism?

 

I do understand

You wont go away

But tell me why

You are all afraid?

 

Afraid of the future

Afraid of change

Afraid of common law

Where everyone is the same.

The doctors in the Swamp

Knew what was going on

That all the fighting 

Was futile

 

The choppers came in

With severed limbs

They sewed them up

To send them back in

 

Not on the radar

Outside of their empathy

Was the awareness

Of this absurdity

 

They took an oath

On the battlefield 

To help the injured

Friend or foe

 

You need no father

To pray for them

His battlefield cross

Prevented nothing

 

Is it surgical 

To be mobil

To arm yourself

With threats of hell

 

Is there a border

North or south

That changes death

None can escape?

 

The only thing

That brings on changes

Is the harsh reality

This is all it

Now while the TV show MASH certianly had tons of religous overtones, the one thing I still value today was the empathy in it.

Sentenced to lashes

An atheist blogger

Who dared to question

 

The Pontif thinks

He has the right

Traditions of Abraham

To the Rig Vedas

 

But juxtaposition 

Is all it would take

Next to Marvel Comics

To see it is all fake

 

Fire god Agni

Lightening god Thor

Yahweh a lesser god

Born in Caanan polytheism 

 

The X Men

Of antiquity

The cartoon past

Of mythology

 

Horus before

The first to be born

Isis the Madonna gives birth

The savior son god

Fantastic claims

The fly has a name

Helicase separates them

One side copies

In a straight line

 

The opposite in reverse

Copies in a loop

Lagging behind

Dealing with Okazaki fragments

 

Separateing G from C

And A from T

Then replicating 

At lightening speed

 

6 feet long

Each molecule 

Tightly compact

In almost every cell

 

It coils itself

Around histones 

Coils again

To become nucleosomes

 

The necleosomes

Go on to package

In a fiber

Called cromatine

 

It loops and coils

Even more

To the final product

It is in all of us

Religion takes our nature

Causing us to compartmentalize

 

Romans 3:7 

Taqiyya in Islam

Allows humans 

To justify deception 

 

The leopard spots

The majority justify

Subjegation of others

To selfishly keep their power

 

Used to justify horrors

Infecting politics

And all you have to do

Is pretend to be the victim

 

This is not hiding

An abused child

This is not lying

To save an abused spouse

 

This is merely used

When your tribe is attacked

To justify a power grab 

Advantage in politics

 

Our species fight or flight

Is what is going on

Anthropomorphic distortions

Of our evolution

 

Anyone could lie

In order to survive

Religion takes this nature

To justify violence to others

 

Yes humans lie

But that is no excuse

To hide behind religion

To justify abuse

 

Deception is the squid

Using ink to escape

The crab losing a claw

To live another day

 

Human religion

Infecting politics

Both majority and minority

Reflecting ignorance

 

Ann hid in the attic 

As anyone would do

Bibi uses it today

To merely win elections

 

Sunnis and Shiites

Conservitives and liberals

All lie to themselves

It is because of holy books

 

Deception to survive

Is not because of magic

Not because of deities

Who promise to protect us

 

Anyone could lie

If under threat

It is time that religion

Stop hiding behind this

 

The virtue of the oppressed

Dressed up in superstition

Allows the cycle of violence

In the history of religion

 

Yes I would lie

If under durress 

If it ment survival

Of my person or family

 

Yet when after the fact

We hide behind this

And use it to silence

Any criticism 

 

Our elaborate myths

All use different words

Call them holy laws

As written absolutes

 

Deception  is used

By both predetor and prey

One to gain an advantage

The other to excape 

 

That is the reality

A self inflicted lie

A cartoon courtroom

Justifying violence

 

Time to remove this veil 

This evil fairy tale

The gangs of Abraham

Constantly use to kill

 

There is no patent on pain

Not for Allah to claim

No cross for Christians to bare 

No anti Semitism 

 

There are merely humans

Jockeying for position

Both top and bottom

Using political deception

 

The only path to peace

For any of these three

Is to stop using religion

To justify either

 

Not through bans

Or through censorship

But the insistence of knowing

This is the only ship we have

 

Through reason and question

No blind loyalty

To put all these tribes

To accept 

All matter

Started out

In the same place

 

And to accept

Energy transfer

Beyond

Our decay

 

I am fine with that

I know

When I decay

My atoms will move on

 

I will not think

My ride beyond my death

Will be infinite

I am not magic

 

I have no super powers

The sun does not either

It is merely bigger

With a longer lifespan

 

There is no magic

To any of this

It is nothing more

Than a giant weather pattern

 

We are not the cause

Nor were we ever required

We are finite

And I am fine with that

 

It is no doomsday prediction

From a jealous God

Demanding blind loyalty

If you don't agree

 

It is the mere accptence

That no one need be frightened

Of this finite ride

In our uncaring universe

 

We can still try

To extend this ride

Without gods or superstion

Or our chidlish pride.

The absurd idea

That a label

Is some sort of patent

On human behavior

 

Neither the heavens

Of Abraham

Nirvana and Moksha

Explain our desires

 

There is no heaven

No perfect state

Everyone suffers

To some degree

 

Everyone has concepts

Of what we should do

Concepts of kindness

And reactions to violence

 

All countries have prisons

All have had wars

Conflicts with outsiders

And competing sects

 

The things we find pretty

In any of them

May make us feel good

But don't explain anything

 

The acts of kindness

We read in those books

Are found in all religions

Merely with different words

 

Nobody owns

A patent on good

Those are things

That humans do

 

Stuck on pretty

Unfortunately

Is what keeps us divided

Inoring our history

 

Religion was never

Required to explain

Our natural behavior

We've always had

Then why the drama

For anyone of

Competing ideas?

 

If we all 

Got it right

If one of us

Had the magic bullet

 

Why it would seem droll

If not obscene 

To think all this

Has already played out

 

Something bigger

Than all of us

Call it religion

Or quantum michanics 

 

Whatever gets you

Through the day

Whatever you believe

I have no say

 

Other than 

The obvious

There is nothing  at all

Favoring us

 

Our predilections

Are local and tribal

But none of the universe

Cares about our survial 

 

Our ride is finite

And depends

If we can scrap our idea

Of our self importance 

 

That is the only

Way I can percieve

To extend our ride

Of our species.

Prior states and rebirth

Get their start.

 

Take that around you

Give them neat sounding words

 

The real painful Engrams

That debilitate 

Is our species abillity

With photons

Moving them

Back an forth

 

Now we are

A hologram

Does that require

A congition too?

 

If these scientists

Suggest that

Does that mean

All this is a product

 

How would this be

Any different

Than the cognitions

Of antiquity

 

Instead of a God

A cosmic Bill Gates

And we are nothig but

Zeros and Ones

 

How is it they

Regect the one

The only puppet master

Only to suggest their own

 

I think certainly

Scientists  can figure out

Mathmatically 

What makes this all tick

 

But I think

Dawkins is right

In doing such

There is no essence 

 

Plato was wrong

I don't think you can

Turn this imperfect world

Into any coginative plan

 

Cognition is an outcome

Not a starting point

Math should never

Shoud give us perspective

 

To be afraid'

Of the priests

Is to fear the hollow

The bane has always been

About the laungague of others

My priority is simple

This multitude

To put real slings

Back in that quill

 

My distain is not of

I can counter that

Our expansion

We feel pain

We feel love

Our ups and downs

Are the same as yours

 

It is not fatalistic

At all to accept

Our finite ride

I think this bullshit also stems from "let them eat cake" gate, wich still would not negate the reality that it is not good for wealth to say "fuck em". Evolution will always produce a pushback when life does not have stability in resources. And also stems from Hypatia too, missing the point that no matter who said what, it still conveys the IDEA that women can be smart and don't have to put up with religious sexism. And for those here who pine after protecing religious metaphor you certainly cherry pick who you blaspheme. If I were really a dick in that sense I would demand you not point out my errors.

Some here are sucking Plato's "essence" in wanting a utopia themselves. But I don't mind, every comment you make gets people to think, no mater whose side someone might be on.

Being wrong about details which also happens in science, does not negate the overal message. Now the difference in my errors and say religious metaphor is that I would never demand taboos or murder people for not liking my poetry or pointing out my mistakes. The same cannot be said for religious metaphor. 

 

So once again, the road to "give a fuck" is the other way. You are barking up the worng tree. I will promise everyone reading this, if I do get a book deal laugh all you want, it will require editors and spell checkers and fact checkers. I will leave every word alone, and where there is an error at the end of that poem I will put the notation and correction to it. Untill such time, you get what you pay for.

Now unless you want to run for office and pass laws demanding perfection, or outlaw garbage like the WWE which WAS passed of as a "real sport" for a long time, or unless you litterally want to murder me(which I would hope not) then all you are ultimately doing is saying you don't like me.
