Liam Neeson Evolution Box set (2001)
I am ordering some DVDs related to evolution and see this one. Did a google search on RRS and didn't see any references to it. Has anyone seen this PBS series? 480 minutes for $69 gives me pause and that is is 10 years old.
Is it worth buying?

I believe that the full title is Evolution: the triumph of an idea. Liam Neeson is the narrator but there are a bunch of other people on the video who are powerful speakers as well. Here is a list from wikipedia:

As far as the price of older PBS videos goes, well, they rarely lower their prices on that stuff. In my estimation, the value of such material does not drop all that much though. Let me compare it to “The Bourne Identity” which is of similar age. Fine movie in it's day but really, I can think of better ways to spend my money (unless I find a copy in a variety store for like $5).
So yah, I think that it is a good series. If you want to buy it, use the link that I changed yours to though. The price is the same but a couple of bucks from your purchase will go to support the RRS.

Yes, the link goes to the exact same product. However, I really don't know how they are generating the code, so it is best not to be too creative and try to form your own links. I know that Brian has posted correct links in the past, so they should work fine if you use them as presented.
For other products not linked, if you do not have ads blocked, there are a few special amazon ads that will form the link for you. My understanding is that you have a limited time after the initial click through where the link will work, so it must be tracked server side some how. Probably, if you just do your shopping the regular way and then when you know what you are getting, go in through the ad link and fill your basket from there. You should have plenty of time so long as you are not trying to buy a few dozen items all at once.

I changed it. I don't think the link Gene gave would work. Thanks for trying so hard to ensure we get credit from Amazon. It's a great system and it's worked well. The best way for you to buy something without a link from me would be to click a link from our site that does have our referrer code (the images on the bottom left sidebar of the forum work), and as soon as you get to Amazon type the item you want into the search bar, add it to your cart, and purchase it within 12 hours.
I use a tool that Amazon gives me to create links. I don't know if there is an easy way for you to create them.

P.S. The evolution series is excellent, it's worth owning. My favorite evolution shows ever.
