Religion and Hats
I've been pondering whether the religions that exist differ in viewpoints and opinions. But I reached the conclusion that religion is all about wearing funky hats.

My religion doesn't have any special hats.
I think the turban bit is more cultural than religious, btw.

Why did you have to bring facts into it?
Everything makes more sense now that I've stopped believing.
I was told by a sikh once that the long hair/turban thing was initially used as a helmet during battle. I've never really followed up on that claim but it's a very good justification for having long hair and looking manly doing it. Aside from Jesus that is, he just oozes macho at every head shake that show off those amazing locks of blond hair.

The turban is certainly cultural, just like the religion it has come to be associated with.
