Don't Pick On Daddy, By Brian37

Don't Pick On Daddy, By Brian37

Infantile tribalism
Leads the fans of fiction
To violent action
In his defense

Is this his priority
Ultimate seniority
No questioning
His authority

Under his roof
Is human strife
In natural disaster
Crime and war

And most important
To this being
Besmirching his name
The ultimate sin

A jaw of glass
He must have
To curry favor
Of human kind

And when we
Do not follow
An iron fist
We command

How kind of him
And skilled priority
To make his focus
His own narcissism

By any name
One label fits
That of tyrant
Who throws fits

Is this it
Don't call you names
When humans suffer
In various ways

Don't pick on daddy
Freud would say
Insults over swards
Should rule the day

If the worst
We produce
Are unkind words
Instead of blood

We are doing good.

"We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus -- and nonbelievers."Obama
