Those of you well-versed in ancient philosophy will likely find nothing new here, but I found this episode fascinating for a lot of the same reasons I'm a member here: http://learner.org/vod/vod_window.html?pid=824
He covers a lot of the philosophical origins of things often being debated here. Some of you may know of it or have seen it, but the entire series is absolutely brilliant, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in human history. The way Weber weaves together the evolution of our culture seems to me clear, precise, and following a logical progression of thoughts and ideas.
