Poor Daniel Dennett

Look at how lost he is.  "Uhhh", "Ehhh", "Duhhh", he has no clue where to go.

Dinesh just totally made a complete arse out of him.

Amazing how your distorted

Amazing how your distorted viewpoint can lead you to see that video in those terms. You really are a sad case. Dinesh misrepresented Dennett's arguments, of course.

Dennett did say a lot more than just "Uhhh", "Ehhh", "Duhhh", he just wasn't quite sure which one of the many fallacies to point out next. He was overwhelmed by the paucity of Denishes 'arguments'.

None of those dictators did what they did "in the name of Atheism" in the sense that the Religious ones explicitly and proudly referred to their religions.

They each had a much more specific philosophy which included lack of belief in the standard God, but that is way too empty a position by itself to justify their actions, as compared to quotes from a Holy book, even if arguably mis-interpreted. And Dennett was not asking believers to share any of the blame, anyway.

HAHAHAHAHA Dinesh could be

HAHAHAHAHA

Dinesh could be owned by a ten year old. His lies, fallacies, and simple stupidity however give him an advantage over a scientist in a professional debate for a few reasons. I'll give two of them for examples.
1: Every time he speaks the scientist must take a minute or two trying to translate his jibberish into an argument to refute, which uses up the scientists time to refute same 'argument'.
2: His ridiculous claims tend to take equally ridiculous amounts of time to refute, because they are wrong in SOOOOOO many ways. This makes the scientist have to choose on the fly which response to go with, knowing that alone it is insufficient, but also knowing that the debate doesn't provide enough time for more.

You're just failing epically now.

Dennett does occasionally pause to think while speaking. He comes across as very sincere. You can tell that he's trying to say what is true. Dinesh looks like a con man saying what he thinks will sway the audience.

Apparently in debate, being thoughtful is equivalent to being "lost". That's a new one on me.
