Dr. Steve Gaines Bellevue sends lie that hitler used evolution
and he does have a weekly show that airs in memphis. thats how i know he did. i forgot exactly the whole message but i know he gave mention to hitler and evolution. why are they still trying push this idea when we all know its a lie!

If i recall Hitler's reasons for the final solution from watching a special on NATGEO, it had something to do with his occult/astrology obsession, not evolution.

hitler used eugenics to best of my knowledge. he loved the idea and met with top american eugenist and also credited america form of eugenics as good and said he use it from his book mein kumpf thats way i found out i could be wrong!

Charles Lindberg worked with a Doctor Alexis Carrel during the 1930's on a project that was supposed to provide immortality via organ replacement. They were Nazi sympathizers who were into eugenics, but Carrel, a French surgeon, was also a mystic like some of the Nazis. Oddly Lindberg in addition to being an aviator was also an inventor. As part of these experiments, he invented a perfusion pump that later became the basis of the first heart-lung machine.

Seriously. Everyone would gang up on the Cancers and go genocidal our asses for being pessimistic all the time or some such nonsense. Technically this wouldn't be eugenics as it's a FUCKING ZODIAC SIGN but for all their technological advancements the Nazis were way fucking wrong about bio-ethics.

I beleive the basic point is this... Even if the Nazi somehow derived their ideas about eugenics from the work of Darwin, it was clearly a rather absurd distortion of the concept of evolution. It was artificial, not natural, selection.
If they adhered strictly to Darwin's ideas, they would have arrived at the conclusion that there was no race that was in any way superior to any other. Overlooking the obvious fact that all races of humans are essentially genetically identical... the fact that any race has survived and prospered would indicate that they had "passed" the test of natural selection.
Hitler's ideas are actually more in tune with what we see in the Old Testament. Look at the story of Joshua, for example... He clearly practiced eugenics after conquering his enemies by slaughtering every last living thing that wasn't Jewish in order to preserve the purity of his people.
I always laugh at the arguments that Darwin was responsible for the crimes of the Nazis. Even if we were to concede this point, it would pale in comparrison to the amount of death and destruction caused by religion. The creationists who insist on using this argument should remember the old adage about people who live in glass houses.

The thing is, what Hitler did was not natural selection. Darwin explained natural selection by comparing it to what had been known for a very long time already -- artificial selection. It was known that if you want the strongest horses, you choose to mate the strongest ones you have. This is artificial selection and Hitler wanted to breed humans in this way.
