Is that who did it, or are you joking?

Also, the Darwin character raising the roof at the end is hilarious.

No, I was just using that as a term to express my amusement from it. Smiling I was not even aware there was a group called "campaign comedy", if that is what you are alluding to?

There was an Australian show when I was a teenager called Champagne Comedy (at least that's what I remember). It was in the early 90s - I saw it on a school rugby tour in Bristol. I guess that's weird that I remember that. Anyway, I thought maybe those people did it. But then I watched the video, and it looks like all the "bodies" are all the same guy.

That's where I got the phrase from, the show was called The Late Show by a group who called themselves the D Generation.  They've all split up and become unfunny now, unfortunately.  It was just an impromptu unscripted thing one of them did on the show once and became a bit of a running joke for the rest of that season (if I recall correctly, that is).

I am determined to not care

I am determined to not care if the creator meant it to mock atheists or theists.  Neither side makes it any less funny.  Hell, the fact that nearly all of the atheist blog community thinks the video is a total hoot would completely disarm it if the video was intended to make fun of atheists.

I really liked it,

I really liked it, especially the beat! Charles Darwin was really 'getting it', lol. I didn't know he could get down like that.

Other than the logo for Expelled being stamped on the "questioner of natural selection" that was tossed out of the university, I didn't see anything that would make me think that this was propagana for them.  There were too many well thought out science v. religion historical references in there.

If this were from the Expelled team, I'd simply expect to see a Hitler speech, followed by Nazi soldiers marching around, then some concentration camp photos, and capped off with "Do you want this to happen to your country?  Then watch Expelled to learn the truth about the Nazi religion of evolution!"

A must see video, Dawkins rap

I'm not really sure what to make of this video. I can't tell if it's mocking atheists or theists.... But it's still funny to watch.

I saw it as more of a response to Expelled.   The new ploy from Christians is to call the scientific community a conspiracy, this notion is set forth in expelled.  The opinion is taking hold slowly, but powerful Christians are ensuring this message is pushed.  Cult RRS minions, please take out your conspiracy cult books turn to page 60, and prepare for a new argument to take hold.

I saw the video as a joking embrace of the retarded notion that the scientific community is a bad conspiracy with Dawkins claiming partial credit from the get go.  I guess the idea is so ridiculous to me that when left on my own to decide, I'd see it as parody...  just like the cult comment I made.

I wish there were a Pimp Dennett poster. I'd buy it.
