Where to start with this one?
This was too funny, I had to share. I'd posted my "Blasphemy Challenge" video on MySpace (go check out my profile: http://www.myspace.com/kathi_law), and I got a comment from a girl that said, "I really like your personality but hun you have to know what to follow and what to not the bible says many things but the most important out of the whole bible is beiliving in jesus and that he died on the cross and you accept him its that simple!!!!"
I couldn't pass that up. I sent her a message asking her to please tell me why she's the authority on what to follow and what not to follow in the Bible. Here's her wonderfully articulate response:
"The lord said its good to question things and i know your just trying to find answers ok to answer your question ok well when jesus died on the cross he died for all of are sins. His last words on the cross are it is finished and am sure you have more knowlage of the bible then most people and that's really good ok so what i follow is simple am non denonational. Becuase i don't beileve in seperating the body so i herd what you had to say in your video and it was interesting. Ok see those striptures you were reading are the old laws but when jesus came he forgave them all we don't have to scarafice these things to the lord. Because jesus came and forgave all our sins and God mead our body to have a period and he loves us the way we are so don't you see Jesus renewed us so i beileve the whole bible but i don't take everything in there literety. Like the burnt offers and the uncleanness because Jesus washed away are uncleaness!!!!! ok you might of seen some ladies walking around with long hair no makeup and long skirts and long sleave shirts will what they beilieve is a women shouldn't wear what a man wears and a man shouldn't wear what a women wears so they think pants are what men wear and skirts are what they wear. So they take like one stripture and twisted it around see there living under the law but God dosn't want us to do that is why he sent his son so that we may live forever with him. So theres stories in the bible theres things not to to follow today and things to follow today you just have to know what to follow its not that we don't beilive the whole bible its that there is surtant things we must follow and surtant things to study. But its not for us today as for the Holy Spirit this is a part of God we don't reject because God is three Father,Son,Holy Spirit so what ever issues you have with the Holy Spirit. Please tell me why you deny it and i can give you some striptures on why it should be practice today. so message me anytime ok bye oh sorry about the spelling i have really bad grammer!!!!!
I suppose I should give her some points for realizing she can't spell, capitalize, tell the difference between "are" and "our", or use punctuation, but I'm just not that giving of a person. I'm so glad she cleared all that up for me. I'm going to go pray to Jesus right now that I'm never assaulted by such bad writing ever again.

1. As I read what this lady wrote, I keep thinking of my 4 year old. When my daughter is telling me a story, she talks like this lady writes.
2. Your MySpace page reminds me how much I hate Geico for making me hate such a good song.
Poor communication skills
Poor communication skills seem to run rampant with people like her. Isn't there a statistic that correlates poor education and religion?

a) I don't think she realizes that we are very well versed in scriptural mysticism. Our questions regard the validity and sanity of the scripture stories. Yeah, yeah, yeah. we know that "Jesus died for our sins" and that "the old testament was repealed". you'd have to live under a rock not to know that.
b) I suspect English is her seventeenth language
c) Or I suspect she is four years old

I like how her argument hinges on demons speaking through me. I'd mentioned the grammar and spelling, and she really did try to do better - at least she used her "shift" key. I told her in my reply to this one that if she's not willing to have an intelligent discussion and rationally defend her beliefs, she shouldn't go around leaving comments for people telling them what to believe or not believe.
