And it controls not only the US government but the Israeli government.

Dominionist Politicians
Submitted by Rich Woods on February 4, 2012 - 2:27pm.Hey Gang,
Would anyone be aware of any credible websites that can provide a list of high profile Dominionsts, especially American politicians? I am researching for my next book, and I require evidence before I apply any labels. In advance, Thanks.

Founding Fathers reading suggestions
Submitted by sourkroutamen on January 26, 2012 - 4:24pm.Ok so I've never started a thread on here before, but I like to stop in every now and then and see what's currently raging on the atheist side of the internet. I'm a third year history major at JMU and this semester am researching and writing a 25 page paper on the Founding Fathers of America. Thesis is still in development, but the general idea is what role Christianity played or didn't play in the decision making of the Founding Father's, particularly Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, and Madison. Since I'm sure some of you have looked at this subject I'd be interested in seeing what sort of further reading you would suggest. I'm obviously more interested in primary sources than secondary, but I'll write down and consider whatever you throw my way. There is a lot of material out there so you guys can probably bring up something I haven't already unearthed from my libraries moderately large databases.
Looking forward to what you suggest.

Murky African shores
Submitted by CaveTroll1066 on January 23, 2012 - 8:42am.Right then. Seeing as this is predominantly an north of the equator website I have a serious question for the educated lot on here.
What is the genral (or individual) opinion of Southern african politics or is news even disseminated on that side of the pond?
Do we look the bumbling fools that some of us here feel the government makes us out to be? And does sub-saharan africa even feature in anybodies dinner table discussions?
As usual I am seething with curiosity on this one but I'll help with any confusion someone may have in regard to our lot..
Many thanks all

Is this the Republican plan?
What's the deal with Ron Paul?
Submitted by Ktulu on January 19, 2012 - 11:55pm.I'm Canadian, so I have just recently learned about this whole Ron Paul fiasco. Perhaps some of the more politically inclined members care to shed a bit more light as to why there is so little coverage of this candidate.
Also, suppose that he does indeed win, would things like PIPA and SOPA even be an issue?
I find the whole media blackout of this guy fascinating, I'm sure I'm not alone.

Power and Control
Submitted by blacklight915 on January 12, 2012 - 5:55pm.I'm curious: why do people even want power and control over others?

Piss and Vitriol...
Submitted by Louis_Cypher on January 12, 2012 - 2:02pm.I'm honestly not trying to be disingenuous.
How come the world gets in more of a tizzy over a group of men pissing on dead bodies that it does over those same men making living human beings INTO dead bodies?
We can shoot them, we can blow them up, we can burn them alive but there is no moral outrage until someone pisses on them in death.
Don't get me wrong, I think what the Marines did was tacky as hell, particularly in making sure that it was filmed for posterity. But I think back at some of the guys I served with, and strings of ears...
