Progress is a wonderful thing.
I recall a couple years back I stopped posting at the Gamespot forums due to moderator(s) who decided it was fine for a christian to go off on a rant about my atheism, and deleted my polite refutation. I'll never go back there.
Over the last week or so, another theist has decided to harass me with inflammatory comments on the official PlayStation forums. On his first post, I responded in kind. 10 minutes or less later, both our posts were gone. I have since ignored him, and chuckled as his posts disappear one by one, with mine remaining.
It's a wonderful thing.

What led to the godly one arcing up on an unrelated forum like that? I've run into a few born agains on favourite interest sites of mine and have let sleeping dogs lie.
I'm not sure what reaction I'd get - p'raps gaming sites are not so conservative as some of my ports of call.
Fortunately, here it's possible to say what you feel. There's something magnificent about those moments on RR when folk we know are rational, gentle people drop their gunports and let fly.
I think Ciarin and Aiia have had excellent moments on the grump and some one else I'd like to see unleash would be ButterBattle. Butter is always so balanced...

It was my signature which started it, though I'd argue my signature was originally a response to theist signatures. A catholic took polite exception, to which I enlightened him, to which he graciously backed down, though with a parting shot about atheism being a religion. After I corrected his mistake, the godly one stepped in, without any argument, and somehow managed to find a way to call me a sodomite 5 times in two sentences. Lol.

What is it with the
Godly and their fixation with the lower half of their bodies??? I know I've raised this before elsewhere but there's something weird about equating non-belief with sex the way christians so often do.
And yeah the signature might do it for some one like that...

On a forum (I ain't saying
On a forum (I ain't saying where), someone was angry because a guy at Home Depot was fired because he wouldn't remove his 'button' that said 'One nation... under god'.
The other posters all vehemently supported this person and his plight to sue Home Depot for discrimination.
I asked two questions:
"What if it were a button that said 'godless american, would you still support this person?'" and "Shouldn't a person be fired for not following a supervisor's instructions concerning the employee dress code?"
The post was deleted and I lost permission to post in the forums.
So nice.
