What was the point in all

What was the point in all this?

Not sure what you were saying in all this. But let me make something clear. I do not hate any god, by any name, as if it were a real entity. I hate that people go around making claims without backing those claims up with evidence. I can no more hate god than I can hate Mickey mouse or Thor.

I would hate it if my co-worker or family member went around claiming the earth was flat even though I love them, I don't have to like everything they claim.

BUT, if we are going to pretend for example's sake only, that a disembodied brain existed I would be angry at it for the horrible inhospitable home it provided for us. The reality is that there is no being doing this, which would simply make the inhospitable planet and universe we live in simply a natural ongoing process void of a magical super hero or super villain. I can't be angry at an object that has no capability of caring about me.

I hope that clears things up, although I am confused as to why you started this post and quoted me.

being pedantic!= rational or pragmatic

And if I want to unleash rage at the nonexistant... well, it's a healthier release then doing so at something which exists.

“A meritocratic society is one in which inequalities of wealth and social position solely reflect the unequal distribution of merit or skills amongst human beings, or are based upon factors beyond human control, for example luck or chance. Such a society is socially just because individuals are judged not by their gender, the colour of their skin or their religion, but according to their talents and willingness to work, or on what Martin Luther King called 'the content of their character'. By extension, social equality is unjust because it treats unequal individuals equally.” "Political Ideologies" by Andrew Heywood (2003)

06. With Oden On Our Side

06. With Oden On Our Side

Finally the storm arrives
Our way is at an end
Under dark winter skies
We make our final stand

For each of us there are four of them
It matters not to us
We won't leave his field in shame
We are here to crush

Futile to resist
You know why we have come
Futile to resist
The battle is already won

Our hearts are full of pounding rage
Our minds hard as steel
And before the dying day
We will have you kneel

The snow turns red from all the blood
Severed limbs and heads
A sacrifice to one-eyed god
He will claim the dead

Under winter skies
We stand glorious
And with Oden on our side
We are victorious

No retreat
No remorse
Victory
Will be ours

Blood on steel
Sacrifice
Victory
Will be ours

Under winter skies
We stand glorious
And with Oden on our side
We are glorious

Futile to resist
You know why we have come
Futile to resist
The battle is already won

Futile to resist
You know why we have come
Futile to resist
The battle is won

Baptism... I'd just as soon bathe myself in the collective filth of the entire animal populace....

Forgot to add:
