Election Reform Activism

Just wrote a letter to my newly re-elected congressman, D-Mel Watt.

Dear Mr. Watt,
Congradulations on your re-election. I'm happy to have you as a Democrat representing me in my district. And thank you for returning my letter asking that you co-sponser H.R. 635, to investigate the President's possible criminal action. I also expressed my hope that you would do what you can to make our democratic process more accessable to all. I can't thank you enough for supporting H.R. 9, the Voting Rights Act, as well as the H.R. 939, the Help America Vote Act.
I would like to ask you to consider co-sponsoring one more in respect to voting rights. H.R. 3099, the Clean Money/Clean Elections Act.
I know your a part of the ruling parties, but we need to free our democracy from the tyranny of the rich. Votes should be based on voices, not dollars. Free the candidates of the time spent fund-raising. Allow other parties like the Libertarians, Greens, and Socialists better access to the population AND the ballot. We need instant run-off voting so that a vote for a Green won't be a vote against a Dem. I ask, please do what you can to sponsor any bills that may help give all Americans more accurate representation.

First let me say this new

First let me say this new formatting thing sucks, the posts are not in chronological order and the page gets distorted by it. I didn't know of a place I could complain about it, so I'll do so here. If I'm the only one this is happening to, will someone please tell me how to fix it? Now, onto your regularly scheduled post:

If I was going to write anyone that thinks they represent me, it would look like this:

"Dear Representative:
Please propose and support bills that allow people to choose to be left alone by the government.
Please propose a law requiring juries to be informed of their right to find a defendant not guilty because a law is wrong despite overwhelming evidence that the law was broken. This is what trial by jury is all about, the people having the final check against the government in the ability to refuse to convict offenders.
Please propose an end to domestic terrorism. I am speaking of course of the ATF and IRS. The IRS is a much more effective terrorist organization operating within the United States which has been ignored. Please draw attention to this problem.
Please propose the repeal of Title 26, U.S.C.
Please propose changes which would increase ballot access to third parties.
Please propose changes which would allow citizens to kill police officers attempting kidnapping and murder and claim legitemate self-defense.
And finally, please stop pretending to represent me. If I wanted you to represent me I would have contacted you personally requesting representation. I did not do so because I do not want you to represent me.

Do it!
Mine might be real gooberish, but I wanted him to actully read it and think about it. I wish I could really rant, but he would have just thrown it away.
