One from youtube to me.

Yes. I got this and had to post it.

Sometimes, I actually long for the days when I was treated with revulsion by these people. This one could actually type(or copy/paste) so I'm giving them the nice treatment for a little while.

sent this to me:

I saw your pictures on this site alot, and It seems like you could be a little busy , (and these days, Who among us isn't, for that matter) but you know , if you find time ............thanks, woods JOHN LENNON:
Some years before, during his interview with an American
Magazine, he
said: "Christianity will end, it will disappear. I do not have
to
argue about that. I am certain. Jesus was ok, but his
subjects were
too simple, today we are more famous than Him" (1966).
Lennon, after
saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ,
was shot
six times.

TANCREDO NEVES (President of Brazil):
During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000
votes from
his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency.
Sure he
got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made
President, then
he died.

CAZUZA (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet):
During a show in Canecïo ( Rio de Janeiro ), whilst smoking
his
cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said:
"God,
that's for you." He died at the age of 32 of AIDS in a horrible
manner.

I remember learning this one in the convent. Titanic....man
THE MAN
WHO BUILT THE TITANIC: After the construction of the
Titanic, a
reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be. With an
ironic tone
he said: "Not even God can sink it" The result: I think you all
know
what happened to the Titanic.

MARILYN MONROE:
She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a
show. He
said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her. After
hearing
what the Preacher had to say, she said: "I don't need your
Jesus". A
week later, she was found dead in her apartment.

BON SCOTT:
The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he
sang:
"Don't stop me, I'm going down all the way, down the
highway to hell".
On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead,
he had been
choked by his own vomit.

CAMPINAS/SP IN 2005:
In Campinas, Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick
up a
friend.
The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried
about the
drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter -
holding her
hand, who was already seated in the car: "MY DAUGHTER,
GO WITH GOD
AND MAY HE PROTECT YOU."

She responded: "ONLY IF HE (GOD) TRAVELS IN THE
TRUNK, CAUSE INSIDE
HERE IT'S ALREADY FULL". Hours later, news came by
that they had
been involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died, the car
could
not be recognized what type of car it had been, but
surprisingly, the
trunk was intact. The police said there was no way the trunk
could
have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was
a crate
of eggs, none were broken.

Christine Hewitt:
A Jamaican Journalist and entertainer, said the Bible (Word
of God)
was the worst book ever written. In June 2006 she was
found burnt
beyond recognition in her motor vehicle.

Many more important people have forgotten that there is no
other name
that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus.
Many have
died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive.

JESUS!!!

P.S: If it was a joke, you would have sent it to everyone. So
are you
going to have courage to send this? I have done my part,
Jesus said
"If you are embarrassed about me, I will also be embarrassed
about you
before my father."

"What benefit does it have, if a man gains the whole world
but loses
his soul? What can man give in exchange of his soul?"
(Matthew
16:26).

My response:

Soooo, only non-religious people die violently???
You are making a classic logical error called a non sequitur which is that one thing does not lead to the other.
It 'does not follow' in other words.

For instance, if I said, "Hitler was a catholic and World War 2 was started because of that." then that would also be a non sequitur.

Do you understand? Even if it 'could' be true there is no supporting evidence.

I could certainly look up many references to devoutly religious people being killed and tortured. I am under the impression that would do no good in your particular instance because the typical response is that their torture and subsequent martyrdom would simply serve to reinforce the words in the bible dealing with christian people being persecuted by others.

Sit back and re-read your message to me again and cast a slightly doubtful eye upon your words. What would you say after reading it with one ounce of skepticism as to the message or even the intent of the message?

If anyone wants to add anything I can send it on or you can message them.

So, to prove a point, we'd

So, to prove a point, we'd have to list all the times non-god stuff was said and nothing happened to the person?

Yup, my first thought was "what about all the catholics that have been cannonized?  A lot of them suffered some pretty nasty deaths."  (Joan of Arc comes to mind.)  You already answered that.

I think the line " I remember learning this one in the convent." pretty much says it all, don't you?

You can send it to him, send

You can send it to him, send the link to him, or do nothing and hopefully someone else will see or use it. Smiling

I find the idea rather morbid, but if you really feel theres a value to it then by all means ask for people to sign a register or some shit when they make the blasphemy challenge. The big problem is that theists are likely to cause some of these deaths(especially if they realize that the person took the challenge), so any of those must be ignored.

buckaroo2you wrote:

I don't.

I think you should go and find out what an atheist is. You should read a couple of atheist books. Then you can abandon the false views you have of what an atheist is.

I don't. At least, not in the same way you do.

Died a month later. And I'd love to see his quote of actually saying this. Preferrably in news documentation. Anything from a church or theist affiliated website will be automatically discarded as biased. I know all to well how much theists like to misquote people.

Approximately 39.5 million people on the planet today have aids. Most of them are god worshipping bible thumpers. Guess that blows your theory out of the water.

Certainly do. An incompetent and overconfident captain meets iceberg. Oh yeah, god didn't make an appearance.

You know Billy has friends in North Korea? You know Billy is a bigot? You know Billy doesn't follow the word of his god? Billy is going to hell if his god exists.
You can't even prove he visited her at all though, now can you?

This is getting rather tiresome. Perhaps you were unaware of the fact that every one dies? No matter what anyone says or does in their life, they will die. Since you're so uneducated about reality, I'll assume you think mother theresa was a good person. Guess what? She's dead too.

You're definately going to have to provide some proof for this outlandish claim. Or do you really think I'll take your word for it? lol.

the sad part about this

the sad part about this argument is if you point out religious people who died violently they are simply a martyr...

Some years? Try fourteen years earlier. Most believe that his assassination had little to do with the comment that he made a decade and a half earlier (which he came out and clarified, not that the religious douche bags saw fit to 'forgive' him). Most believe that it was related to the FBI and John Lennons anti-war sentiment.

This guy is an idiot. I hate to judge but it's true. He wouldn't be able to think his way out of a wet paper bag.
