You should embrace your ignorance and not talk about subjects that you don't know anything about. This would greatly reduce your chances as coming accross as a person with subpar intelligence, and likely help you in your daily life.
Being critical of a persons actions without knowing their reasons is simply foolish and does not deserve a reasonable response. I recommend you read around the site, get to know the situation, understand the arguments and the reasons and then exploit your rather poor writing skills to try to make an actual point.

This person should be tried, hung, drawn and quartered for their vicious and senseless savaging of the beautiful English language. I have never seen such carelessly written, brutally mangled prose. Perhaps we should send this fellow a return email asking kindly that he only put his thoughts in English before sending them. As they are now I can barely make head nor tail of them. The email that we return, presumably, would operate under the assumption that our interlocutor can read, which, given this, may be overly generous.

Well here's the thing... On one hand I think, "What's the big deal? Belief in a god is such a small thing in the grand scheme of things, who really cares? Just let everybody believe what they want to, as long as they're not imposing their beliefs on you."
But, this minor belief seems to dictate so many aspects of peoples' daily lives. It goes past the minor inconvenience of being approached or having people come to your door trying to convert you.. religious people are advocating imposing their beliefs on the USA by changing the Constitution. Religious people are trying to force their beliefs into a secular school setting. Religious people are dictating whether or not people can have guns with which to kill me. As a future scientist, religious people are imposing on my right to use stem cells and clone (nevermind the fact that I just cloned a big batch of bacteria last week...) and research a lot of other things. So in fact, religion IS hurting me personally, and I feel that for this reason, all the other rational responders and I are perfectly justified in our response.
I will have a good day, albeit a jesus-free one.

It's always nice to see rants like this. I guess people like this don't know or don't care that they hurt their own when they spew such non-sense. I think it's the same way with the young earthers. Little do they realize how much they hurt their own credibility when they contend the earth is only 7,000 years old. I always tell them that if I have to believe the Earth is so young to believe in their god, then I have nothing to fear if I don't.
I don't care if there are ever fewer christians than atheists honestly. I don't hate any theist for what they believe personally. However, there seems to be a disconnect here that so many people believe we are a democracy in the United States and the majority has the right to run roughshod over the minority. I get sick of the majority claiming persecution by us minority atheists. Atheists are the ones getting discriminated against. In a small town close to where I used to live in Illinois, a couple had moved from back east somewhere. They had adopted a child over 20 years ago. They went back to MA I think it was to adopt another child and went back to Illinois. Long story short, the state found out the parents were atheists and the state came back and took the child from them. Is this not discrimination? In a Pew Survey recently, 50% of people (higher than muslims btw 31%) surveyed held mostly unfavorable or very unfavorable views of atheists. This is odd because even democrats at 25% held the same views of atheists. I think it's disgusting that people can judge someone not by what they believe but by what they don't. The website I got this from even noted the bias in that atheists have less per-capita incarceration rates and are generally less racist.
I guess it makes em feel better that we "hate" them so much they can feel christ-like I guess. I wonder how many would be willing to "change" their beliefs if they had to face the lions nowadays. I don't see many xtians willing to die for their beliefs anymore. My in-laws just got back from a mission trip in England to convert the heathen muslims. I told them maybe they should go to Iraq instead, but they thought I must be nuts because it is still so dangerous there. While in England they won't even try to convert sikhs anymore because they are afraid that any converts will be killed by other sikhs for abandoning their religion (which happens). This just tells me so much about christian faith, but sure someone will rationalize it somehow on here.

I had a very interesting experience yesterday. I don't know if it's going to be an appropriate response to anything you have hear, but it's a true experience. I dropped my Catholic friend off at church yesterday evening for confession before mass. I come back at about 7:15, which is around the time the last mass starts, and all the patrons walking into church were smoking, yelling and screaming at their kids, pissed off for one thing or another after a long day of work or school or whatever they do during their days. I sit and wait for mass to be over so my Catholic friend and I can go do something fun, and when church lets out, I saw everyone happy, singing, skipping out of church. They were ALL in such better spirits than before.
To a theist, this may say that religious beliefs improve your way of living or when you let God into you heart, he will take away all your pain and frustration. To me, this pretty much personifies that religion has done nothing but brainwash people. Do these Catholics think their life quality is better having been to mass than it was before? I certainly hope not, because God didn't come down and repair their lives while they were in "His house" worshipping him.
To me, this proves that one of the most important aspects of religion isn't the belief system or history, it's the effect it has on your daily life... positive thinking, and you don't need faith or church or mass to think positively.
