Would you rock it?
I know I am about three years behind on this bandwagon, but I made myself five of these silicone bracelets (like the LiveStrong). They are debossed (the words are sunken) with "I deny the Holy Spirit." It took me a while to come up with the perfect slogan or whatever, but I remembered the Blasphemy Challenge and the Unforgivable Sin, and I thought that was the perfect, short message to get the point across that I am atheist and proud of it.
I chose white for color (and I think that white should be known as the atheist color) because white is symbolic of purity ie we are pure thinkers, free from ignorance, etc. Here is a crappy cell-phone picture of it:
-I used a pen to write in the words because they were hard to see without it.
I was just curious if any other atheists would wear something like this (I am not selling them), or if you think this bandwagon is played out. The main reason is because, like I said earlier, I am proud of my beliefs, and I want people to know what they are. This is the most efficient way I could think of to get the point across.
By the way, these bands are of very high quality; I ordered them quickly and easily from a trusted website. They were custom-made and shipped to me in less than ten calendar days (if I recall correctly). They are MUCH, MUCH cheaper if bought in bulk, but I had only myself to buy for.
Just curious, and this was not an advertisement for the website.
On a side note, that firefox thing is pretty annoying. Great website, though.

This sounds great what are the slogan suggestions...
the "I deny..." is good , but personally i would prefer a more subtle "makes you think " type of slogan..
Iwould be prepared to get some done for people in the AUS /NZ region..

Sounds like a great idea, and white is the best colour good choice there too.
Hmm, I just thought of this one--I was reading another thread and saw some guy's signature; plus I am really into philosophy and love reading it: "Enlightened"
Other than that, I haven't really tried to think of any others. If I do, I'll post em up.
I'd certainly wear one.
Although my favourite pro-atheism slogan is, "Too stupid to understand science?! Try religion!"

This might fit, Im's not sure.

Welcome reddrob! I like the idea of the bracelets, unfortunately, I cannot wear them at work due to chemical interference. But that would not stop me from getting one and wearing it outside of work! I like the idea of "Enlightened" as the message mainly because it would cause others to ask about it and possibly offer an opportunity to open someone else's mind.
The firefox thing bothered me too until someone showed me how to use it and now I run firefox instead of Internet Explorer and it works great. My suggestion would be to download it and try it. You can always uninstall it if you don't like it.
Keep us posted on the bracelets!
lol cool , for a mintue thier i was kinda worried.
