FUNNY PICTURES ABOUT RELIGION GO HERE

I'll start with a small one.

(I have a dream.... All churches becoming deflatable.)

Pssssssst NOOoo. PLEASE LORD don't forsake me! NOOoo. PSSSSssssssssssssss...etc.

~Let us be reasonable~

You want to claim there's such a thing as "the supernatural"? Fine. I hereby declare you to be "paracorrect" in doing so.

Although you can make fake church signs at the site, the pics at the link above are claimed to be real.

KSMB, is that photo for real? I guess it would be pointless to argue with this guy that John von Neumann deserves an equal amount of credit along with Turing.

That reminds me of a site that claimed that Apple computers were Satanic because the kernel of Mac OS X is named Darwin.

Actually, the kernel in OS X is XNU, but Mac OS X is in the Darwin family!

Ain't necessarily so...

I suspect that the sign is ironic. Things like the rainbow flag hint that the picture was taken at a pro-gay rally, and that the placard-holder is just trying to show that the world has a lot to thanks gays for.

I doubt that anyone able to write would seriously call for the destruction of the computer.

Just a thought,

ROTFLMFAO!  God, I laughed about that book for days after I bought it. Smiling  I've never actually read it.  It's pretty short.  Maybe we could have a "book of the week" session and read it together. Eye-wink

BTW, are you into Star Trek, Star Wars, both?  Or is it just the silliness of the book that grabbed you? Smiling  (I'm actually a fan as well as a lover of silliness.)

Susan, the book cover I showed you is also real...no fooling.  I'm sure "Winkie Pratney" (seriously silly name in and of itself) didn't realize how stupid his title sounded...or how silly the cover was.

It's an honest-to-goodness Christian book.

Winkey has a Wikipedia entry:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winkie_Pratney

and his own website:

http://www.winkiepratney.com/

He must not be too proud of this book.  It's not in the list of his books on his website.

One of the artists at our tattoo shop [I'm a silent partner] is a pentecostal minister and the other two are atheists. I showed this picture to one of the atheist artist and he made me print it out and hung it up at his station. You should see the preacher. He's pacing back and forth fuming. We're all laughing at him. He's always leaving his little pamphlets lying around for the other artists, so we're giving him a taste of his own medicine.

Be sure and let us know if the preacher ends up reacting (other than pacing and fuming). Do we suspect he will react in an un-xian manner????

He's all bluster.  He

He's all bluster.  He tries to lecture us, but most of the guys know more about his religion than he does.  He's used to us not backing down from him, so he just sulks a lot.  We're the only tattoo shop in town and he doesn't want to move, so he's sort of stuck with us.  We put up with his garbage, so he has to put up with us and our shenanigans.  Some times he'll laugh it off, but most of the time he pouts.

He's so funny.  He'll read the bible when there's nothing to do, and nobody says anything, but I recently lent my copy of The God Delusion to one of the artists, and every time he reads it in the shop, Preacher gets all worked up.

I love where I work.  Not a day goes by without some sort of drama Smile

I find it interesting that a preacher would be a tatoo artist.

What does he do when someone wants something a bit anti-religious?  A picture of his reaction might be pretty amusing.

We have two other artists that are more than happy to take his money.

He won't tattoo any person if they want one anywhere near their naughty bits.  He loses so much money, I don't know why he still does it.
