Books on Cults

Read any good books on cults and new religions? Cults are an interesting topic for me, and I've been looking for books on them lately, but most of what I've found is written from a christian perspective, not from an objective perspective. Also, I'm looking for stuff that covers historical cults, as well as off-the-wall things like the cargo cults. So if you know of a few, I'd love to check em out.

If you consider the Mormons

If you consider the Mormons a cult:

Under the Banner of Heaven by Jon Krakauer

It gives a great deal of (scary) history on the Mormon church.

Also, although it's not

Also, although it's not specifically about cults per se, this book gives a lot of the mindset of the Mormon church and how they'll alter the truth.

The Mormon Murders by Steven Naifeh and Gregory White Smith

This is a personal favorite of mine.  Not only it is an interesting, factual murder-mystery, I think it exposes a lot of the hypocrisy.
