Well for one thing the

Well for one thing the C.Awesome problem might have been the work of an Islamic flago-fascist hit -quad to quench any opinion they disagree with enough. I think many, if not most of these 'events' have revolved around an anti-islamic video of some sort. (Not counting spoon benders bending the rules.)

For the Root of all evil, if it was the full version, it probably got taken down because with the right to ask for it to be taken down, asked for it to be taken down for whatever reason.

I'll get back to you when I think of something worthwhile to say.

There are Muslim and

There are Muslim and Christian groups on YouTube that target certain videos for flagging. Since YouTube automatically deletes videos once they have been flagged enough times, without even having a real person check them, this makes it easy for these groups to take advantage of the system and get away with it.

The root of all evil? went

The root of all evil? went down because of copyright, caps stuff I don't know. I'd think they would know better then to try something with cap tho...

Counter flags will just make them flag back, it will be like gang warfare over the internet. Pointless.

YouTube depends on

YouTube depends on advertisers | advertisers fear boycotts from Christian groups | YouTube comes under pressure to suppress overtly atheistic content

Lazy is a word we use when someone isn't doing what we want them to do.

Does anyone know if Dawkins is protesting the suspension?

No idea...

I'm sure someone from richarddawkins.net is. But I doubt Dawkins himself is even aware of it.

Well, actually I was thinking maybe Josh Timonen (who sends out all the great email notices) might be working on it if anyone is.

I can't imagine that Dawkins would have the time or the inclination to deal with YouTube.

That's probably moot. What matters more is that they are capitalists and most of their customers are theists.

"Hitler burned people like Anne Frank, for that we call him evil.
"God" burns Anne Frank eternally. For that, theists call him 'good.'

I think Dawkins might care about YouTube.

YouTube is holding me down, though. I only have 15 subscribers Cry CryCryEmbarassed
