 Alex is correct with about

Alex is correct with about 70% of what he says.  I'm not sure why he felt the need to yell, mock, interrupt, and avoid the discussion.  He has a huge audience he doesn't need to go to the mainstream and show everyone that he is an insane lunatic who should be on some of the drugs he would like to see banned.

He was irrational and far from level headed in that "discussion."

Here is a video on gun

Here is a video on gun control which I believe sums of most of my views.

I've always believed that people who were so vocal about not wanting to have their guns taken away were actually afraid of having the government take things over... much like Alex Jones screaming that 1776 was going to happen all over again.

And going back to the 2nd amendment, I think the Supreme Court has been heavily influenced by the NRA and their lobbyists.

There is no way the founders/framers of the constitution or the bill of rights could have fathomed the massive destruction that automatic weapons could do. It is obvious that Scalia and others have been influenced to make a decision protecting the few and endangering the many.

I might be the lone dissent

I might be the lone dissent in this thread. But the old "people die in murder other ways" again to me, is just an excuse to do nothing. Now, who says because we have other problems that we should not address guns too?

Guns are big money, and the NRA is not run by the mere members, but the manufactures. They have no interest to create economic stability. If they did that, there would be less crime, less crime, people will feel less of a need to buy guns, less profits for the manufactures.

But this is parcel to all big business. You make society dependent on you, you can dictate wages. If you keep them economically desperate and fearful, the big money gets to dictate the climate, and not the voters.

Now this moron does not understand that other nations too, have gun ownership, and do not have the same level of gun death we do here. So he is falsely accusing others of wanting a prohibition on cars when we simply want to lower the rate of drunk driving.

Gabby Giffords owns a gun. And polling shows that even the majority of NRA members want less gun death.

So as far as I am concerned, there is no excuse to do nothing, which is what we have been doing.

You are not alone on this point. I have stated it numerous times on these threads.

It's about money. The supreme court did not make a ruling in favor of gun ownership because they thought the 2nd amendment said so, they did it because of the fucking money involved and I have no doubt Scalia (the total douche) was paid off.
