Another evil from religion
People in the atheist movement often accuse me of not acknowledging the evils of religion and the acts they inspire. But I found an evil that cannot be seperated from religion

I remember in Grade 6, I had to march down the street of my town singing "our god is an awesome god"
I don't think even Jesus could heal something so lame.
Our God is an awesome god, He reigns from heaven above... And even though his son paid the price and owns everything he still sits and watches all this lovingly.
If we are supposed to learn about evil, I think we have learned enough already. There really is no excuse for an all powerful, all knowing, all loving god, who greatest sacrifice was to be born and commit suicide for us to allow all this.
Jesus, you didn't have to die, you just need to stop watching human cruelty and fix it. I would trade your bad weekend to stop all human suffering. Otherwise, You are just one cold bastard.
