I post all over the web, but I want a back up in case my computer or one particular website goes down.
I have decided to edit this post because I do not like giving people the wrong impression. I cannot read Shakespeare to save my life. I just remember this one line from act 5 scene 5 and put my own spin on it. I've had to explain this over and over so here I decided to put that in this post so there is no more presuming what I know or don't know. But the plot of MacBeth is the old lesson, you can have everything and nothing at all at the same time. And how did all that cruelty serve you in the end? But I do not like play summeries calling him a Nihisist, because it is possible to not do what he did, and accept life as being finite, and sitll have morals without religion.
NEW EDIT 9/19/22 I got pissed at myself that I was scared to read MacBeth, so tonight, I forced myself to read it online. Now mind you, I did not understand it line for line, but basically Macbeth was an assdhole who murdered his way to the top, and did not believe the 3 witches prophcies. He murdered Duncan and had Banquo murdered. Banquo's ghost haunts Macbeth. And made the grave mistake of attacking McDuff's family and killing them(If I am reading this correctly) But Lady MacBeth has a guilty conscience and kills herself, upon finding out Macbeth basically says that life is not worth living and he should go down with a fight anyway, but refuses to fight Macduff face to face and Macduff kills him as the hero. ( I SERIOUSLY read the entire play every line, tonight. I even know where the famous line "double double, toil and trouble". comes from. The three witches, basically saying "look out Macbeth" your ass is in trouble.
So basically the moral of the play, don't be a fucking asshole when trying to get to the top, or "the bigger they are the harder they fall". Reminds me of the movie Scarface and all the shitty things Tony did to get to the top and all for not. But Sosa in that case was not a good guy either.

Told by the credulous, full of sound and fury

The selfish part of me
Wants you to fight
Screaming inside
DON'T DONT DON'T LET GO
My realistic side knows
It is your final hour
I know you are tired
Of that fight
And still
With a brave smile
Through the cloud of morphine
Killing the pain of the infection
I know although
I don't want to face it
I know I know
It is time for you to let go
It's elementary
The credits roll
At the end of
Every movie
And what a movie
You have had
30 years of teaching
Ohio Sate grad
And what a life
You've provided me
Exposed me to the world
Always take care of me
It's elementary
Bodies wear out
We fight as long as we can
But it ends just the same
You've made and impact
To countless many
Lots of love
You gave me pleanty

I don't want to see you go
I am frightened
But wont tell you so
I do understand
It's your last stand
I would be selfish
To demand

I know playfully cheat
When we thumb wrestely
Use both hands to bend it
But that damned rattle
In your breath
Knowing you'll
Be at final rest
Having to leave you
Alone at night
Afraid our last moments
Will end that way
Listen you
I don't know what to do
The airline wont
Let you
Won't let you
Take my thumb
It wont fit in overhead
I need it in any case
Go away death rattle
You are robbing me
Of more time
I know I cant stop you
Insidious rattle
Deny us more battle
You cant take my thumb mom
I try to comfort you
Listen you
I know you hear me
As I try to move
In my chair next to your bed
You grip my thumb tighter

It started one night
When I left
Just to be silly
To get a smile
Everyone says bye
But it happened on night
Instead I responded
"bicentennial"
It became a game
Between me and my mom
To come up with "bi" sounding words
To each we'd respond
The game was
Not to repeat
Each other's favorites
As we parted each night
She'd respond
To my "bicentennial"
With "biplane"
And it went on and on
I'd say "bison", but would be in trouble
If I took her two favorites
"Buy one get one free"
Or "bicarbonate of soda"
But we would run out
Eventually
Knowing I'd have
To eventually leave
She'd end it with
"Buy dog food and cat food"
Knowing I'd make stops
On my way home
Feeling her cold skin
At the funeral home
The vile stiffness
It won't happen again
It was as if
I could wake her up
Just in a sleep
The way they prepped her
I can only find comfort
She's no longer in pain
But I hate that we will never

How mighty we think we are
Then nature comes along
If we think we can tame this planet
Then we are sadly wrong
Temporary fixes sure
We can survive the cold

But this planet

We always relent
In the end
It bites back
When we over reach
Resources
We stupidly think infinite
I type this poem
As you read
On the laptop battery
Is what you see
But what it does not matter
That someone prior
Figured out
How to give me power
Yes
In a temporary sense
It is nice
I can still type this
But in the grand scope
It is a futile effort
For even these words
Will not last forever
In the moment
Most humans fret
About losing their food
A flood crushing their homes
Yes I am lucky
It just knocked out power
At best I loose my food
If it takes too many hours
But the earth is violent
So too the universe
Many a meteor
Has in the past struck us
My power is out
As I type this poem
But so what
It will be back on
Something will get me
Maybe not this storm

An act of torture
With fratility symbols
And fluffy bunnies
You call it a "sacrifice"
But exactly what
In this story
Was lost forever
Not to mention
The absurdity
Nobody survives
What that myth implies
All blood is lost
All organs die
The brain stem dead
Rigor mortis sets in
Now above looking down
So the believer claims
How is that a sacrifice
If you do it to gain fame?
On the beaches
Of Normandy
Many a soldier
Never came back
Never started
A new religion
Never went in
To get attention
Charlotte far better
A moral story
Saved the pig
Without the violence
And who asked you
To forgive for me
That is my choice
My autonomy
My mother
Sacrificed for me
Did so without
Seeking fame or glory

That does not read
Like a selfless act
More like emotional blackmail
A publicity stunt
Oh the follower
Sees it as beutiful

You see what is true

It may be useful to abide by the concept "humans are born equal" for the sake of a stable society -- i.e., treating all individuals in theory as equal, when in fact they are not.

Terror was at hand
60 Osange dead
Poisoned, shot and bombed
Greedy William Hale
Convinced his nephew
To marry
A Native named Mollie
Then in short order
Her mother Lizzie

Cousin Henry gone
Whites often did back then
Look the other way
The savage native's success
The headrights not desrved
But now it wont be
Just about history
Or just about Natives
We have t stop this greed
Our nations parks
Or minorities rights
Global polition
No end in site
We had no right
To look away
We stole the contenent
And their resources too
Jackson no hero

We need to get off of

This poem was inspired by the horrible events in Osange Oklahoma, where a gang plotted to murder and steal oil rights from rich Native American families between 1921-1925. You can google search or wiki "Osange Indian Murders" to get the full history.

We know
They are all lying
But the truth is
It's been long in the making
It all started
With Reagan
His union busting
Age of deregulation
The balance of power
Makes it obvious
For 36 years
GOP gerrymandering
Of the three branches
In that time
The balance of power
Has been lopsided
This push to the right
Didn't happen overnight
We gave up
When airline unions died
No more can liberals afford
Infighting or sit ellections out
We have to win swing states
As well as expanding our map
We cannot let them lie
With more cold war slurs
We are not anti private sector
For wanting better wages for workers.
They've excelled
By dividing the regions
Urban, suburban, rural
Time to shout NO MORE
Pink knit hats
Along with scientists
Poor and middle class
We must unit against
Greed based assault
Is all they are about
Sucking the money up
Only to the top

"Die quickly" their plan
Will not make us healthy

We gave up long ago

We know he has no mandate
He lies every day

We'd all like to think
All 7 billon of us
Got it right
Where others did not
Tis arrogance
On everyone's part
We start out small
Then burst no matter what
Our bubbles of claims
Mix and match
Some get along
Some fight to the death
It ends the same
Time does not care
Who ends on top
Our ego's won't spare
Quantum mechanics
Convey's "all this"
Not of the cause
Of a super cognition
But an uncaused pot
Full of boiling water
Random and uncaring
That cares not of our strife
I am sick

Thinking that
We are so different

Of evolution
Produces false perceptions
Driving us to create gap answers
As to why
Good and bad happen
Punishment vs reward
In comic book form
It creates social order
It creates group safty
But at the expense
Of thinking rationally
The fictional forever
Is our species ignorance
To absurdly think
We are the center of all this
This a fatalistic view
That we cant find meaning
If we don't manufacture
A utopia superstition
You go to a movie
Knowing in credits it ends
That does not stop you
From seeing another again
You go to a concert
Classical, metal, pop or rap
There is a last song
You know it wont last
You read a novel
Thriller, horror, or biography
It has a last page
Is that your enemy?
You get a pet dog
Or maybe a pet cat
They won't outlive you
And you accept that
You don't assign
An afterlife
To a tree
Or a cockroach
Is that the approach
We should take
To live in fear
Because this is it?

While everyone wants
To feel safe in their dwellings
To turn the mundane
Into Dirty Harry
Buford was not
Superman
Just a guy
Doing his job
Just like Serpico
Played by Pachino
Far too much
We treat our gods
But unlike gods
They were flesh
Real and human
Unlike our gods
Buford found
Creative ways
To bust law breakers
Consiasting of
Enforcing antiquated laws
That remained on the books
Such as treating an automobile
As as horse needing a hitch
This is what
Humans want
In the hero
They call a "god"?
We want to stone
Adulterers
We want to maul kids
With she bears?
Your god is small
Not walking tall
If all it does
Is bark orders
Arbitrary
Based on antiquity
Your automobile
Is not a steed
I am all for
Busting cooruption
But it seems to me
Deities revel in it
Humans are flesh
Gods are fiction
When we need help
Only one shows up

"If you would only",
Is the same line
Used by the majority
Of the religious worldwide
"You didn't pick
The right sect
Follow the right holy person
Or interpret it correct"
But funny that
Look at ants
Cooperate fine
Without worshiping that
Funny how
Elephants mourn
Protect their young
Without folklore
If I'd only
Buy those things
Without scrutiny
Without question?
Isn't that really
What causes our problems?
Buy the car
Without an inspection?
"If you'd only
Do it my way"
Is not an argument
Based on reason
We know far more
That was then
Today's data
Got us to the moon
It is never too soon
Never too late
To give up on old claims
Proven to be out of date
Scrutiny
Neutrual objectivity
Observation
Exceedingly likely
Likely to pave
Our future with facts
It's time to leave
Myths in the past
"If only you'd be
Intelectually brave
Willing to be wrong
Not be a slave
Not be a slave
To fallacious appeals
Those of traditions
Of things not proven
If only you'd see
The world is less frightening
When we see it through nature
And not superstition
Appeals to emotion
Are not an argument
You don't have to buy
The religion of your parents
In poems prior
I have stated before
There is lots of wonder
And good in the world
But there is no magic
To any of it
To human behaviors
Be they good or bad
No super hero
To punish you
With an earthquake or tornado
Nor cancer too
I've heard it
From every label
"If only you'd pick
You'd be able"
My response
In every instance
Regardless of
The club they argue
"Maybe you
Need to consider
It's all made up
By fallible humans"
It's not frightening
To me in the least
To skip the forever
Accept the ride ends
What matters is now
Not a fantasy future
There has never been
A utopia forever
I do find comfort
In the love of friends
In support of family
And beautiful sunsets
None of that
Requires a god of the gaps
Nor reincarnation
To accept facts
I find joy
in silly jokes
Spending time with family
And friendly folks
In gentle surf
Caressing the beach
In knowing the moon
The tides do reach
In the bright contrast
Of the Monarch butterfly
Or the hump back whale
Breaching water to the sky
I cannot nor will not
Allow my brain
To think all this
Is due to a magic man
If you'd only
Think of it naturally
You could see
Nature's vitality
Even with
Disaster and death
There is no need
To explain it with myth
We are a blip
And that's ok
It won't hurt humanity
To think that way
"If only you'd
Do it my way"
Is a dangerous distraction
Ignoring we're not at all different.

An antique clock
With white face
Black bold numbers
The second hand ticks
A leather couch
And sitting chair
Hanging above
A landscape painting
Ideal
One might think
Executive office
With fine wood desk
This picture
Was taken in
45 when
The Nazis were done in
Deputy Mayor
Of Leizpig
His wife and daugheter
Feared capture
Just like in Japan
When the allies invaded
Many citizens
Hurled themselves off cliffs
Just like Goebbles did to his kids
Convinced them
To commit suicide
To avoid capture
So the Mayor
His wife and his daughter
To avoid capture
Ended it all with cyanide
And what was the point
When it all started
Decades ago
When Germans got desperate
This horrible notion
Of world domination
A master race
Humanity's discrace
I look at that picture
Of the draped bodies
Covering the furniture
As if on vacation
But their suicides
Were of desperation
Caused by one man
Who sold them nationalism
Sold them hate
Sold them the utopia
That they were
The master race
Ernst Kurt Lisso
At the desk
Hunched over
At his death
His wife Renate
Drapped in death
In the sitting chair
Because they bought hate
His daughter Ragina
Sloutched on the couch
Her legs crossed
As if on vacation
It could be
A game of Clue
The butler did it
A black and white photo?
Unfortunatly
It was very real
The horror started
Years before
When a man
With hyphen mustach
Promised Germany
Forever they'd last
One selfish man
Murdered 6 million Jews
50 million worldwide
On all sides
Suicides played over
That dark April month
And would repeat months later
In the rising sun
His followers too
Swallowed his bile
Only to end up
In an office pile

The poem above is based on a picture taken at a Mayor's office who was loyal to Hitler shortly before the fall of Berlin. And just like Japan when they knew defeat was comming, many committed suicide thinking that tourture and rape and public exicution would face them. Don't get me wrong, the family I just wrote about was just as evil as Hitler. The point was more about long term, and how society can get sucked into following bad people.

What do you do
While sitting at your computer
And your favorite companion
Jumps on you?
Your best friend
Jumps in your lap
Rubs against you
For attention
While you post
Trying to make a point
This furry distraction
Wont relent
Kneeds with it's paws
Wriggles for position
Slaps his tail on the keyboard
While you are typing
But after a while
He settles down
But even that
Creates a problem
Sometimes you have to
Go to the bathroom
Or answer the phone
Or the knock on the door
And there he is
In your lap
You don't want to disturb him
From his nap
He's got his head
Burried in my arm
Shielding his eyes
Like a sleeping mask
Content to the core
You can move no more
Paralyzed
I love and adore

It is disturbing to me
Watching the news today
Seems we have forgotten
The lessons of history
The lucky ones
In Hiroshima
And Nagasaki
Got vaporized instantaneously
50 million worldwide
On all sides
Were murdered
Because of one man's pride
JFK
And Reagan too
Understood
What nukes could do
I don't think that idiot
Squatting now
Understands
The fallout
We knock Kim out
It will start a ground war
And of that the Communist Party
Will not ignore
They will seek
To fill that vacuum
Then we will be left
With a far bigger problem
Their friends will join in
Ours will too
More potential
To shoot of those nukes
If you are not
Vaporized
If you manage
To survive
Radiation
Lack of commuication
Poisoned air and food
In every nation
Humanity cannot
Afford one ego
We have seen before
What that can lead to
Remember the shadows
In the concrete
For if it happens again
It wont be limited
This is no game
Our species at stake
Dont let one ego
Determine our fate

In public places
This is what

Gets us
And "they're rapists"

The coctail of hatred

Will stop what happened in the park
The sane knew
Long ago
What dangerous scapegoating
Could lead to
Heather the hero
Not General Lee
Not those who protect
Statues of slavery
We cannot allow
The alt right movement
To lead our nation
To a path of distruction
There is a lady
Standing tall in a harbor
Torch raised into the sky
To which we aspire
Rename the park
In her honor
45 holds
No absolute power
We put up
With him far too long
America will be better off
When he is gone
Heather will stand
Stand way far taller
Than any hate group

It didn't take 48
Hours for Bernie
To condemn
The baseball attack
There was no hesitation
No equivocation
No promotion
No dog whistle tact
He wanted to wait
For the facts
But took no time
Condeming the Barcelona attack
What about "Nazi"
Or "KKK"
Has any redeaming value
In any way?
Of the far right ISIS
One would be right to say
Right to condemn
In every way
A car is a car
Murder is murder
Skin tone nor religion
Is an excuse for either
They use Islam
Here the bible
Justifying violence
It makes no difference
I am tired of
The horrible fallacy
It is about heritage
No it is about fascism and slavery
Moving the statues
Is not the attempt
To erase or ignore
Horrible events
We can still teach
That slavery was wrong
Just like the Nazis
Like the Hocaust Museum
What we cannot do
What we must avoid
Is to leave those monuments
In the context of glory
We have history classes
And history books
Just like we have films
Of concentration camps
There was nothing at all
Redeaming one bit
About what the South fought for
Just like the Nazis did
If you can take
A rightful stand
Against the violence of ISIS
Quoting the Koran
Then you can understand
Our KKK and Neo Nazis
Living in our homeland
Should also be strongly condemend

Religion was used
You can find

Quoting religious purists
White nationalism
Pandering to Germans

Used to keep society in line
Over there
They sell fear
"Gift Politics"
"Pay to play" here
They hate outsiders
Condem all rivals
Progaganda of nationalism
They keep their power
It's the same utopia
Of trickle down
Let the wealth do that they want
For they know what's best
Your dear leader
Will aid you in disaster
Loyalty is blind
Your orange master
That cant
Happen here
Is the refrain
Stated year after year
It has happend
In history before
When you remain silent
And wilfully ignore
One man
Long ago
Sold the same utopia
Of abundant bounty
The sense of intitlement
That your skin tone dictates
White Germans, North Koreans
Infecting the states
Wealth is right
Just listen to them
No one understands you

While the working poor
And working class

Recover easily

He's got the money
Where most of us don't

It is no song
Just a dance
In denial too long
The orange scorpion
Is the uncertainty
Cone of corporate welfare
The swamp Mara Largo
A mattress king
Did the right thing
Allowed the victims
To sleep on his beds
What does 45 do
Instead
Avocates tax breaks
For his class
Houses flattened
Like it was the H bomb

On flooded roads

To face you with facts
45 cares nothing
Of what you lack

He will protect
Workers and poor
He will neglect
He is

Not all prisons
Have walls
Not all maladies
Are missing limbs or broken bones.
It creeps up on you
One wrapper, one dish
One milk jug
Fails to make the trash
You keep fooling yourself
Saying it isn't that bad
Go buy cleaning supplies
Only to realize
It is more than you can handle
On top of taking care of your mother
Not wanting to bother her
Knowing she is in decline
You hide it from your friends
Worry constantly of discovery
And the worst are your pets
Not deserving the conditions you live in
The isolation cripling
Not knowing whom to trust
Constant fear of judgment
As it keeps piling up
Frig and freezer
Full of rotted meat
Refuse covers the floor
Nowhere to put your feet
Feces backs up
Into your bathtub
Your septic tank is gone
Squalor is your song
It's not a matter of class
Though harder on the poor
Whom don't have the means
To pick themselves off the floor
Anxiety and depression
Leads to this prison
One with no walls
Leads to indecision
Can after can
Food containers too
Evil invaders
Mt Everest overwhelming you.
Stigma stalks you
Everywhere you see
"Just do it" "you are able bodied,
What is wrong with you?"
There are hidden scars
Many don't want to see
But the truth of the matter
Is that there are millions just like me
Society can do better
Than to condemn those who clutter
To listen and have compassion
We are not "the other"
When I finally reached out
Those whom came to clean
Gave me great comfort
I was not the first they'd seen
Do not make it hard
On those whom end up burried
Living in a prison with no walls
Or the burdons that they carry
Believe me when I say
No one wants to live this way
So listen without judgment
So help can save the day
I've lived in a landfill
If you still do
I know the desperation
But there is help for you
I know the feeling of shame
The embarrassment
I know pain of the prison
Squalor does create
Chef Boyardee
Moldy rusted cans
On my kitchen counter
My cigarett butt friends
Cant take a shower
Becasue of broken pipes
Instead I fill the tub
With trash bags to make some space
It began with the shed
When I got behind
When the trash truck
Refused to pick up extra
Then hiden behind my porch
Trash bags piled up
Slowly invaded my home
I had given up
The good news is
If you suffer with this
There is help for you
If you want to seek it
