I post all over the web, but I want a back up in case my computer or one particular website goes down.
I have decided to edit this post because I do not like giving people the wrong impression. I cannot read Shakespeare to save my life. I just remember this one line from act 5 scene 5 and put my own spin on it. I've had to explain this over and over so here I decided to put that in this post so there is no more presuming what I know or don't know. But the plot of MacBeth is the old lesson, you can have everything and nothing at all at the same time. And how did all that cruelty serve you in the end? But I do not like play summeries calling him a Nihisist, because it is possible to not do what he did, and accept life as being finite, and sitll have morals without religion.
NEW EDIT 9/19/22 I got pissed at myself that I was scared to read MacBeth, so tonight, I forced myself to read it online. Now mind you, I did not understand it line for line, but basically Macbeth was an assdhole who murdered his way to the top, and did not believe the 3 witches prophcies. He murdered Duncan and had Banquo murdered. Banquo's ghost haunts Macbeth. And made the grave mistake of attacking McDuff's family and killing them(If I am reading this correctly) But Lady MacBeth has a guilty conscience and kills herself, upon finding out Macbeth basically says that life is not worth living and he should go down with a fight anyway, but refuses to fight Macduff face to face and Macduff kills him as the hero. ( I SERIOUSLY read the entire play every line, tonight. I even know where the famous line "double double, toil and trouble". comes from. The three witches, basically saying "look out Macbeth" your ass is in trouble.
So basically the moral of the play, don't be a fucking asshole when trying to get to the top, or "the bigger they are the harder they fall". Reminds me of the movie Scarface and all the shitty things Tony did to get to the top and all for not. But Sosa in that case was not a good guy either.

Told by the credulous, full of sound and fury

Full of color
Rotate them
For your pleasure
They do nothing
But entertain
Give no insight
To knowledge
Veiw nothing
But empty verses
To justify
History's horrors
The toy company
Sells to all
Look at the colors
Of their utopias
They detest
Any question
Any objection
Of it's substance
It is no telescope
It was never useful
Other than to placate
Our species ego
The toy is dangerous
The children don't share

Read your OT
And you will find
They were not written
Yesterday
With control groups
Or peer review
They were written
In antiquity
In an age of ignorance
And tribalism
They reflect not
Our modern knowledge
Mere traditions
Reflecting the times
We've grown out
Of the past
Left many claims
In the dust
We no longer
Believe in son gods
We no longer
Believe Thor makes lightening
We've done fine
Since discarding those claims
We can do better
Leaving the past behind
I say this not
To discourage rights
But to challenge everyone
To think for themselves.

Note.....I put "Casandra" in not related to Watership Down of course, but the mytholocial idea which polutes human thought that there is a magic way to talk to gods or a god or spirits. The real reason we slaughter each other is becuase of our own ignorance that we are simply competing for resorces and far too often we concoct all sorts of elaborate ideologies in religion politics and business models, and ultimately what we really are doing is making excuses to be on top. Once you understand evolution, and once you understand we are not a separate species, the peace we all want as humans becomes about cooperation, not censorship, not boarders not a game of capture the flag.
Watership Down is a work of fiction. But you look at all religions polytheistic and monotheistic they are conveying the same human nature, our desires to survive and defeat threats to us.

I hate myself, I should kill myself, with all the horrors I commit. My delusions of self importance, my mental illness builds into the pyre of cruelty. I am the barbarity of our migrant past, prior to Cuneiform writing. My childish paintings of animals on cave walls. My futile monuments that will erode as well. How arrogant of me to think I am the only or first to feel pain. Stabbing and gutting girls and babies in the false hope that the spilling of blood will gain favor from a nothingness.
Now maybe if I stop worshiping animals, and make them human, that will fix things. But it does not. Then I take my selfishness and streamline it thinking this monotheistic anthropomorphism is any less of a placebo. I hate myself, because my sacrifice isn't altruistic but nothing more than circling the wagons. I need to commit suicide because I am not worthy of the stewardship beyond my own bias.
No more love of blood, no more magic of blood, be it animal or human, polytheistic or monotheistic. DIE you vile concept, stop dwelling in me, I will force you to commit suicide by accepting the flicker you are that Sagan is screaming from his grave about.
Commit suicide delusion, whatever that harsh truth is, so that your only death gives way to reality to make better this finite ride.

It is good
To base morality
On any old book
Jews on a plane
Held it hostage
Becasue the men
Couldn't sit next to women
Then they claim
And falsely so
You advocate genocide
Becasuse you object
And if you say
Their laws are not secular
If it is based on the Talmud
You get equated to Hitler
I am not anti Jewish
I am anti bad logic

Over what this god wants

Does anyone think

The doctors in the Swamp
Knew what was going on
That all the fighting
Was futile
The choppers came in
With severed limbs
They sewed them up
To send them back in
Not on the radar
Outside of their empathy
Was the awareness
Of this absurdity
They took an oath
On the battlefield
To help the injured
Friend or foe
You need no father
To pray for them
His battlefield cross
Prevented nothing
Is it surgical
To be mobil
To arm yourself
With threats of hell
Is there a border
North or south
That changes death
None can escape?
The only thing
That brings on changes
Is the harsh reality

Now while the TV show MASH certianly had tons of religous overtones, the one thing I still value today was the empathy in it.

Religion takes our nature
Causing us to compartmentalize

Taqiyya in Islam
Allows humans
To justify deception
The leopard spots
The majority justify
Subjegation of others
To selfishly keep their power
Used to justify horrors
Infecting politics
And all you have to do
Is pretend to be the victim
This is not hiding
An abused child
This is not lying
To save an abused spouse

When your tribe is attacked

Our species fight or flight
Is what is going on
Anthropomorphic distortions

By both predetor and prey

Constantly use to kill
There is no patent on pain
Not for Allah to claim
No cross for Christians to bare
No anti Semitism
There are merely humans
Jockeying for position
Both top and bottom
Using political deception
The only path to peace
For any of these three
Is to stop using religion
To justify either
Not through bans
Or through censorship
But the insistence of knowing
This is the only ship we have
Through reason and question
No blind loyalty

Under scrutiny

All matter
Started out
In the same place
And to accept
Energy transfer
Beyond
Our decay
I am fine with that
I know
When I decay
My atoms will move on
I will not think
My ride beyond my death
Will be infinite
I am not magic
I have no super powers
The sun does not either
It is merely bigger
With a longer lifespan
There is no magic
To any of this
It is nothing more
Than a giant weather pattern
We are not the cause
Nor were we ever required
We are finite
And I am fine with that
It is no doomsday prediction
From a jealous God
Demanding blind loyalty
If you don't agree
It is the mere accptence
That no one need be frightened
Of this finite ride
In our uncaring universe
We can still try
To extend this ride
Without gods or superstion
Or our chidlish pride.

That a label
Is some sort of patent
On human behavior
Neither the heavens
Of Abraham
Nirvana and Moksha
Explain our desires
There is no heaven
No perfect state
Everyone suffers
To some degree
Everyone has concepts
Of what we should do
Concepts of kindness
And reactions to violence
All countries have prisons
All have had wars
Conflicts with outsiders
And competing sects
The things we find pretty
In any of them
May make us feel good
But don't explain anything
The acts of kindness
We read in those books
Are found in all religions
Merely with different words
Nobody owns
A patent on good
Those are things
That humans do

I think this bullshit also stems from "let them eat cake" gate, wich still would not negate the reality that it is not good for wealth to say "fuck em". i didn't even realizing i was making "sentances." what are those, exactly?

Iwbiek ignores the main point Brian is trying to make, about Iwbiek's obsession about igoring capitalization, and Vastet completely ignoring what Brian is talking about in order to use it as an excuse to throw his standard'criticisms' at him.
