I was going to ask what the average atheist's views are on abortion, do you know where I could post this question?

This is a good place as any.
Others will chime in here, but atheism doesn't come with the baggage of religion with opinions (dogma) on just about every issue. Atheists don't have an official stance on any issue but whether there is a god or not.

On abortion I've met Atheists who were pro-choice and others who were anti-abortion, the only thing atheists have in common is a lack of belief in any gods or religion. As for me I will have an opinion on abortion on the same day a man can get pregnant, and not one second sooner.

Like others have already stated Atheism is simply a lack of belief in a god.
Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, Anarchists and Socialists can be Atheists.
If you scroll around on this board, you will see that sometimes, the Atheist vs. Atheist on political and social matters can become quite heated, even more so than an Atheist arguing with a Theist.
The first example that comes to mind is the Occupy Wall Street Movement thread.
Me personally (and I am not speaking on behalf of Atheism) on a personal feeling, I do not like the idea of abortion. However, I do not think the government should have a say in it , either from a pro-life platform or an anti-abortion platform.
So, I would have to say that I am pro-choice.
