The Nightclub & Bar Show

My wife and I went to Vegas last week, and we hung out at the Nightclub and Bar Show, because that's the business she's in...

so we threw together a lil' video for your dining, and dancing pleasure...

 All those beautiful women

All those beautiful women and what is Rich petting? The bottle of Jinro. Good to see a man who has his priorities straight

His wife was there - he had no choice but to hug the bottle.

You obviously don't know Rich all that well then.

@Rich Woods:  Looks like you had a fun time.  I was on the other side of the country drinking free Guinness at Shamrock Fest.

Shamrock fest sounds fun...

Shamrock fest sounds fun... hahahaha... Since Today is a national day of inhebriation... Let me just say to my RRS Bretheren... "Enjoy"!

The truth is we are pretty responsible drinkers... Jane never gets smashed... and I rarely do... once or twice a year maybe... We like to drink, but know when to stop...

We've slowed down A LOT... 10 years ago we'd party until the sun came up every weekend... Now we definitely have to pick our spots, hahahahaha

Well, it was and wasn't. You can hardly go wrong with 40 bands on ten stages. There is always something good going on somewhere in the place.

That being said, the free beer is not really free, you have to pay $40 extra to get the ticket to the VIP area to get the deal. You get a different colored wrist band and a souvenir "to go" mug.

Now last year, most of the good bands were in the VIP area, so you had to break away from good music to grab a brew. This year, the good bands were all out in the cheap ticket area, so the only reason to be in the VIP area was for the beer. That made the lines at the taps much longer as everyone was only really there for the one reason.

Outside the VIP area, beer was $20 for three. So the only difference was that you had to drink at least six before you actually got any value for the money. They did not open the VIP area until an hour after the general gates opened so the line to get in was so long that my brother and I ended up buying the first three anyway.
