Ray Comfort- The Evangelical's desperate search for incompetents.

From "The Way of the Master"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWBC0AnAAT0&feature=relmfu

Fast forward to 2:52.

Ray Comfort wrote:
"God gave us 6 senses. The 6th sense is 'common sense'. That's what the atheist and the evolutionist lack"

Really, Ray?

Really???

You're sure there is a god, because you feel that he gifted you with this 6th sense?

That would mean that if you did not have common sense, that you have no personal reason to be convinced that a god could exist, otherwise you'd be bitter that he left you out.

Let's examine his demonstration of his 6th sense, in all it's glory!

Shall we?

Ray Comfort wrote:
" You've just got to think for a moment"

Let 'er rip, Ray.

I can take it!

Ray Comfort wrote:
"There's a big bang, life form begins, and over millions of years, a dog evolves. It's the first dog"

Huh?

There's a 'first' dog as a result of evolution?

Ray, c'mon dude, you really don't think that is how the dog evolved, right?

You'll clearly demonstrate how adept you are at understanding, comprehension, and the Evolution Theory, right?

Ray Comfort wrote:
"...He's got a tail, legs, teeth, eyes.....and it's good that he's got eyes, because he needs to look for a female... he's been blind for millions of years, and now he can see. He's got to find a female!"

Wow!!!

Incredible!!!

The first dog hasn't been able to find a female because he's been blind for a million years??

Ray Comfort wrote:
"Because without a female, he's a dead dog!"

Not according to you, Ray.

You see evolution as things emerging fully developed, at a certain point.

I doubt that you're implying that if he doesn't mate, that his species cannot continue to exist, because that would negate your other 'common sense' explanations of evolutionism.

The first dog didn't seem to have a mother.

Ray Comfort wrote:

"Evolution is crazy. People don't think very deeply"

People like you, Banana Man?

Ray Comfort wrote:
Evolution deals with moral accountability to god.

That's sounds fantastic, Ray!

Sounds like you've uncovered a conspiracy!!

Wow!!

Because here I was thinking that the theory of evolution was about evolution.

Maybe you should appeal to the Supreme Court, to have it renamed Immorality.

Ray Comfort wrote:
If we're just animals, you can procreate your species as an animal, without crimes of conscience.

So, 'doggie' style is unconscionable??

Dayum!!

Ray Comfort wrote:
We don't need to be intimidated by atheists, they're not intelligent, the bible says they're fools

You believe that you are not a fool, Ray Ray?

Ray Comfort wrote:
What we've got to do, is do what Jesus did, and speak to the conscience. Because the conscience brings a level playing field.

Interesting theory, Ray Ray!

Let's see how that pans out for your claim of a god....

Ray Comfort wrote:
How many lies have you told in your life? ......What do you call someone who tells lies?

Probably call them a liar, Ray Ray.

Just out of curiosity, what do you call someone you want to worship as an omnipotent, who murders people, condones and commands others to do deplorable immoral acts?

A 'god'??????

And you want people to worship him, as you do?

You think you have 'common sense'?

Thanks for the demonstration, Ray Ray.

You're a riot!

If I was an evangelical

If I was an evangelical christian, Ray Comfort would make me cringe.... because he's really really really bad at it.

 Those videos are are

Those videos are are difficult to watch.  It's like watching two toddlers discuss the theory of special relativity.  There are so many inconsistencies for every sentence that comes out of this ignoramus' mouth, my brain goes on overload and it hurts.  To think that this is person represents the 'elite' of the movement against evolution... it leaves me speechless.  I wonder if he actually comprehends how idiotic his arguments are?  It always makes me think that he is actually faking it for the money/fame.  I think any one of us could pull it off if our morals were a bit 'looser'.

That is how I feel too.  He and his kind of targeting the lowest of the low...the people with no education, no formal or informal skill in reasoning, and those with no specific knowledge of the topic.

The analogy of toddlers and special relativity is apt, although I'm not totally convinced these guys all buy their own shit.  Maybe they do, it's psychologically possible, but wow, it has to take an enormous amount of mental effort to keep that much dissonance at bay.

Everything makes more sense now that I've stopped believing.

To be honest, after seeing several of Comfort's videos and that terrible attempt at a debate with Brian Sapient, I am not so sure that Comfort is not just some scam artist that figures he can make a living off of the idiots and plays his role to the hilt.

He probably laughs like hell, all the way to the bank and shakes his head at all the dumb people that buy into his entertainment.

The guy seems like such a POE that it is hard for me to not think he really is.

Just had a thought while

Just had a thought while listening to the reports of the big cyclone that has just hit the northern part of my state of Queensland in Australia.

There is going to be a lot of crop damage.

One very important crop for the region was mentioned in particular.

Guess what, Ray, God hates bananas...

In Leviticus, it is mentioned that if a man has two different types of crops in the same field he shall be put to death. All these farmers with more than one crop are disobeying god's will.

Better let the local law enforcement know that there may be a few farmers that might deserve to die for that.

A pity, because mixing crops can be very beneficial in terms of balancing the effects of depleting soil nutrients, and other effects of monoculture, such as more vulnerability to pests and diseases. Its actually a good idea, apart from possibly complicating mechanical harvesting. What is God's problem??

But he hates figs more. Two figs and a banana and a bottle of Viagra make God very angry. Well maybe not, as long as you are sticking the figs and bananas into a cherry pie.

" Ya, but that's what 'science' tells us ", is what some theists would say, and then babble on about the false premise of how you believe scientist 'teachings', therefore you must have 'faith' that what they're telling you is true.

As if there in NO evidence of the conclusions set forth by 'science'.

Theists love to attempt to demonize science, as some kind of 'indoctrinated' belief.

He hasn't struck me down yet.

Because he'd be all bark, and NO bite, if he were actually real.

Fvcking pvssy.
